I drove back to Boston from the cape for the first time in 3 weeks (getting my second shot on Monday) and it looked almost back to normal. I saw people’s faces and I felt happy. This sounds so strange but wait until you see people’s faces again. Oh my god. I hope I always remember this and take nothing for granted. I felt normal for ONCE. Not all the way there, but close. I actually drove through North Station (where the Bruins play) and saw fans in jerseys going to the game. It blew me away. I had such a smile on my face.
The point of this is its coming soon. If you aren’t there yet you will be soon. I hope we’re all there soon. - RickJames77
I'm sure there'll be some other reason found to keep things abnormal and make it the new normal. |

We should be safe with any minor injuries in the PO’s I think. Couple guys who still have some game in the wings. |

Have you felt that Matthews’ game has been hindered by only being able to argue calls with referees for half the games? - Atomic Wedgie
No, but everyone knows he’s the most valuable player on the team. To see him skating around on home ice without a letter just irks me a bit. I don’t think it will come with added pressure. I’m not even saying he should be captain just have a letter on his jersey every night. |

That's wonderful to hear. I'm really looking forward to it. It's been so long there are people I've met whose faces I've never seen.
You make a great point that it's important to not take it for granted. I often think about what if the vaccine development was not working and there was no end in sight. So grateful for that.

I’m old school, and I realize the league has completely passed me by, but I wouldn’t name a captain under 26 years old, and I certainly don’t think your best player should necessarily be your captain or assistant.
Lafleur never wore a letter.
To me, Gainey was a great captain. |

I think two of Simmonds, Mik and Kerfoot or Engvall come out if Nash goes in. Nash might not go in right away. |

As for the bold
At least you won’t have Reimer or Gardiner in a game 7 this year.
