they get to pick who they want in the first round...take it easy and allow MTL to jump over WPG or beat up MTL a few more times and increase the odds of playing them in the first round. They decide how they want to do this

im skeptical that athletes think along those lines to the point where it affects how they perform against certain teams. and anyway if you're Toronto, i don't know know that there's a preference right now. Winnipeg is clearly the better roster but they're just a (frank)ing tire fire right now and i'm not sure they have time to get it together before the playoffs. they could be a really, really soft mark for Toronto or Edmonton.

hopefully not. we keep most of them out in the shop. although we hired 2 girls out of high school and they're both covidiots. no masks. you know the type. one of them has an uncle that died from it and i've never seen her with a mask on even one time.

I'm late but...

I think he should stay, I think once Suzuki, Caufield, Kotkaniemi and Romanov really hit their strides, this will be an extremely solid team

MEDICAL UPDATE

Blandisi and Teasdale both suffered season-ending knee injuries. Both players will undergo surgery in the coming days.

Michael Pezzetta has suffered a facial fracture. He has undergone surgery and the recovery period is approximately four weeks.

Sucks for Teasdale...hopefully it's not as serious as the injury who made him miss a full year of hockey...

Teasdale was good in memorial cup couple of years ago, too bad he is injured most of his minor league career.

he was having a great season in the AHL this year, hopefully it's not serious. He plays a physical style, not easy to stay healthy for these guys. He needs some luck, he could end up on a 4th line the NHL eventually.

Just saw the confirmation, same knee he previously injured

you never know. at some point the Leafs are going to power it down a bit here in the final 5-6 games. they could be vulnerable.

Arpon Basu @ArponBasu

Joël Bouchard confirms Joel Teasdale's season-ending knee surgery will be on the same knee he had surgery on previously. Says it is not career-ending, but he was upset about it. Said the bright side is that after missing 21 months, Teasdale performed well in his first pro season.
