Any news like this is good. Hopefully our numbers will continue to trend down, in this the 3rd waive....rather sick of this stay at home order. The more vaccinations the better. We got great news today about millions more vaccines arriving.
- landros 2
Essentially it means that once vaccinated, the stats for the disease resemble stats for the flu or even better. There are caveats yet to be addressed regarding the variants and how long immunity stays post vaccination, but this is really tremendous news, and shows that normalcy may not be a pipe dream.

What us Flyer fans deserve, only have Pens broadcast. First time I’ll watch a game with no sound |

The new normal. Some things will have changed forever. But it will be nice to travel again. |

Seems like that fishy hedgefund artist Steve Cohen bought the empires in the 2 Phillies Mets tilts. - Landsbergfan
Why is he fishy? As far as hedge fund guys go, he is well above normal.
he is quite a funny guy in a dorky kinda way. One time, Mets fans asked him to bring Billy Joel to the stadium, and he tweeted asking which position they would have Billy play.
I enjoyed MU fans trashing the Glazers a couple of days ago. |

To not expose Jake and JVR’s contracts would be unbelievably foolish. They need room for another quality center, a top pair D and an upgrade at backup goalie. Those things are not coming for free. - BiggE
It’s sad the Flyers need another quality center on top of Selke winner Sean Couturier, freshly signed 7.14 million dollar Kevin Hayes and former second overall pick in 2017 (??) draft Nolan Patrick. |

I know, right? It was positively tragic that the Islanders needed J-G Pageau on top of Barzal and Nelson. |

Yeah, and?
The guy is right. When you sign a guy for 7 years and 50 million and he’s playing poorly in year 2, that’s a problem. Having the 2nd OA pick from just 4 years ago playing like a 4th liner is perhaps even worse. |

in other news with Malkin back the shxt show will continue and has the potential to be the biggest shxt show this season
or the Pens bring out the best of the Flyers, which could still be a shxt show. - wcorvette

I simply do not get the same vibe that many here get regarding Scott. Here is an excerpt from Sam Carchidi’s article that was referenced earlier today:
Scott, the Flyers’ relatively new head honcho, is more reserved and hands-off when compared to Snider. But he cares deeply, works hard at his job, and, though he has other duties for Comcast Spectacor, says he is invested “24/7” in the hockey team.
His style is not to interfere. He trusts the people running the team on a daily basis and relies on their knowledge to build the Flyers’ first Stanley Cup champion since 1975.
Scott knew Snider for 20 years and worked closely with him for 2½ years before Snider died in 2016.
“He was always about hiring the right people and letting them do their job,” Scott said. “That’s what I’m doing. That’s what you have to do.” - NC Flyers Fan
As long as it doesn’t affect the bottom dollar line ... |

I’ll take the goal but honestly reviewing a play that long after the fact is pretty ridiculous. |
