For sure. Around 9 million folks die every year from hunger. Guess their whining means jack Sh1T. Maybe you could mail them you next meal or two to help out. - LordHumungous
Maybe the governments can tax the uber-wealthy and corporations more so they can create better support systems around the world to feed the less fortunate, so that when climate change really starts to ramp up and increase food disparity the infrastructure will be better in place and we can collectively respond more appropriately and humanely.

So are you saying food banks should close, soup kitchens, charities should all just fold because hungry people should toughen up? - 1970vintage
Not at all. What I am saying is there are many many many other issues happening in the world instead of focusing on one topic of self-righteous crap. Maybe folks should start worrying about what will happen If Russia goes into the Ukraine or China goes into Taiwan. With Biden the war monger in one never knows...lol |

It’s not a fact. They were not “better” before Covid struck. They were terribly out played by Ottawa days before their break. Yes, they managed an OT and a SO win, but they were not the better team. Just like in Feb when they lost almost every game but were playing not bad.
They are probably lower in the standings than they ought to be, but not by much. - 1970vintage
Yes they were running out of gas before the break. But if not for P1 the recharge would have allowed them to keep the pace needed to win. |

We will definitely have a better picture about how prospects are doing!
Might be the hot ticket in town, given how the Canucks are shaping up

Thought that was the logical choice over the Okanagan. |

Who will coach Utica next year? I suspect Cull will be our next coach after Green leaves to Anaheim |

lol that cycle will go up and down just like it has for tens of thousands of years. Not much we can do about that. Taxing the Wealthy that create 80% of the jobs on the planet isn't the answer either. Let's start with looking at extreme poverty, ending conflicts and wars that displace millions, Urban Farming, Birth control education is huge and education in general. But I agree better support systems are needed to be sure. |

38% from what I found, and that's only Federal taxes. It's a skewed stat, as it doesn't take into account payroll taxes, state and local taxes, property taxes, sales taxes, and more.
The top 1% don't pay an overly disproportionate amount.
Can read more about the nuances here: https://theintercept.com/...tax-day-taxes-statistics/ |

Maybe some of the picks/prospects staying in Europe might come over now they don't have to go to that Hell Hole. Plus plane rides to Cali over riding buses in the cold another bonus. |

I'll just leave it at that. No point getting into a climate change debate... again.. again. |
