That was for roughing Buchnevick. They had better have an in person hearing for what he did to Panarin.
If he doesn't get something big, I think you will hear players start to call out the league on it. - MacPatty
It would be weird if they gave out 2 different statements off the same play. I could be wrong but I think it’s only a $5,000 fine and we move along. |

I am genuinely surprised. Especially when you contrast it with the 7 games he got for that boarding on Carlo. I thought he would get the rest of the regular season easily. |

I thought so too. Especially when you consider this was after the whistle and he went after multiple guys. It wasn't a good look for him. |

I'd honestly keep him out of Wednesday's game just to let all of this die down. Oh boy, Willy. It gets exhausting having him on the team you root for. |

They've got to have some goons in the AHL, I'd think. It's not so much about protecting Wilson or anything, just to take the spotlight off it entirely. |

He will be fine. Rangers don’t have anyone that can answer the bell. If they did he would have been fighting before and after he scored the empty netter last night. |

I doubt anything happens. If they make a call up last minute with a name you never heard of, yah you might not dress him. But even then, Tom would rather dress and make it a show. |

Fortunately, that's up to Lavy. Hopefully he does the right thing, and just lets this sideshow die. |

I’m not at all. The NHL behaves in a similar way to how refs officiate a game. While it does happen, it’s not super common to see the refs call another penalty against a team while they’re already on a kill, and you almost NEVER see the refs call a third penalty while a team is already on the kill.
Going by that logic, to me the NHL uses the same line of thinking. Since Wilson already had a seven game suspension, we clearly can’t hand out another one as severe.
That’s just how I think they view it. |

I'd swap McCann and Zucker. Put your firepower on the top 2 lines. Get Geno buzzing again before the playoffs start. Carter can take it and he'll have no problems with Zucker and Gaudreau. Thank goodness they're gettin Gaudreau time.
ZAR-Bleuger-Tanz will be a great line to see again. |

Tanevs hair will be on fire when he gets back lol. What does a guy like that do with all his energy when he can’t play?
It’ll be great to see someone play aggressively again. |

Remember the triple puck over glass by Pitt in the playoffs a few years back. I was mad but it was pretty funny. Obviously you have to call delay of game though. |

He's a good player, but I feel ya. It's tough when dumb poop like that happens. |
