Which turnover was worse Bailey or Mayfield - Upstate_isles
Bailey going backhand backwards between 2 guys at his own blue line is just beyond dumb, and he does that type of stuff all the time. His maddening play was on full display last night. He made some incredible passes and plays in the offensive zone and then made that absurd turnover that started the come back, and of course gave the puck away twice on their PP holding the puck too long or trying to force a pass.

The problem with the league is that the refs and player safety if you can even call it that let everything go and players see this and will keep Doing it. Panarin is the Rangers top player so all star players and the goalies should be in play for the Rangers tonight by any means necessary. Slew foot using the stick like an ax boarding anyone in sight. The refs should be in play also for a spear or a slew foot or punch them out. This is what the league wants they celebrate this and want it to happen. It's only a matter of time before someone is murdered on the ice it's coming very soon. |

Upstate post that yesterday. Totally justified in my opinion.
Wilson will never stop on his own. He has no learning curve. The only way to stop him is to keep him off the ice. - JimmyP
One of the Rangers will challenge Wilson to a fight. They will have a grab match, fake, wrestling match at center ice for thirty seconds. Fall on top of each other. 1500 people will applaud. Then nothing else will happen. |

He unquestionably could/should have been suspended for either of those infractions. We're handing out $2k fines for embellishing a penalty that was never called while for only $3k more a five time repeat offender can try to kill someone on ice. |

John Scott said it perfectly, it's open season know, if I am a star player I am keeping my head up. And the NHL has no one to blame but themselves. |

I agree. It will all be for show. I don't usually watch Ranger games but I may tune in tonight anyway. I still hope Wilson receives a nasty spear. |

It's sad it really is. I am not a violent person and I hate to write all that in here but someone is going to die on the ice and the NHL will be front and center on social media for letting it happen. |

I guess the bigger problem here is that once again it raises the issue of consistency, which has long been a point of mockery when it comes to the league's officiating both on and off the ice. That in turn brings the league's integrity into question. |

I hope someone impales him on their stick. Then grabs his stick and cuts backstrom in half with it. (frank) them. |

When Letang slammed Cizikas’s head into the ice repeatedly when he was down then in the same game cross checked a ref and didn’t get a penalty for either I gave up on NHL officiating. |

Like I said NHL wants this to happen. The welcome it and celebrate it. It's there identity. IF a player dies tonight or a career is over. They have nobody to blame but themselves |
