He's a total nut job.

The Knicks are doing good so he had to (frank) up his other team. What a terrible owner. What a terrible person. I worked in Midtown in many circles of people who’ve come into contact with him and I’ve heard enough stories about him and none of them depict him in a positive way whatsoever.

I was talking about the Sean Avery article I posted on page 15 where Avery was stalking a car and broke the guys side mirror. The guy is unhinged.

Did you read the article or watch the video? Avery is out of his mind.

I guess we were wrong about a ceremonial fight.

You have to give them credit. The Caps are bigger and more seasoned for this type of poop. Full props to the Rangers so far.

I guess. NHL is so stupid. They are risking so much by not suspending that idiot. Imagine if someone actually gets seriously injured today...

Stupid? I bet this is the highest rated (TV) regular season NHL game in years.

It may be. The league has to ask itself if this is the image they want. They could have suspended that douche-bag for ONE game and all this could have been avoided. It still would have been way too little, but that's all it would have taken.

It will be a one game effect. Not sure that has any meaningful financial impact.

Agreed that a suspension was warranted and that it would have avoided all the nonsense in tonight's game.

Probably not. My comment was not a serious one.

Any shot that Wilson was actually hurt in that game. Or did they just want to remove the issue for rest of the game?

Unless they considered his cromagnon brain to be the "upper body injury", I think there's a zero percent chance he was actually injured. They really had no reason to leave him in, he only would've been a target all night long and there's no point in risking injuring a top-six forward (especially with two others already out) when there is zero upside to having him play.

If Laviolette had half a brain he wouldn't have even bothered dressing him in the first place.

I don't think he was hurt at all. They just wanted him out of the game.

Here’s how #Isles ran through drills this morning:

Zajac-Barzal-Palmieri
Beauvillier-Nelson-Bailey
Johnston-Pageau-Wahlstrom
Martin-Cizikas-Clutterbuck

Pelech-Pulock
Leddy-Mayfield
Coburn-Dobson

Trotz said he’d rest a couple of regulars and Palmieri/Zajac would play vs. NJ.

I like the lines......especially the fact that he's resting Uncle Leo whom we need fresh for the playoffs.

His fists were sore from hitting Smith.
