The funny thing about that is that my older daughter was born the day before that game so I didn’t see it live but I was getting a ton of txts from friends. Not even about my kid, but about that game.

But, yeah, the Rangers need to do that. If the league refuses to actually care about its players, the Rangers need to do something about it themselves.

The Rangers need to embarrass the league on Wednesday night. I can’t wait for that game. They should dress anyone eligible willing to take one for the team. Just continually pummel all their players. Who cares what the score is? If you’re a member of that team and you’re not incensed right now you should find another line of work.

And, I said it in the Rangers thread, the league basically blaming Panarin for putting himself into that situation is like defending a husband for beating his wife because she couldn’t take his poop anymore. Just, such a pissed poor take from the league and I can’t believe I’m actually rooting for the Rangers to (frank) poop up.

That game last night was infuriating... I know I am biased but the refs disallowed one goal on a B.S. goalie interference. Cost us another goal on one of many quick whistles. Whenever we seemed to be dominating play they called a Horse crap penalty. .. cost Varly his shut out streak on a complete B.S. interference call on Mayfield. How can you interfere a guy when you are looking the other way and he skates into your friggin arm? Gave them every opportunity to win that game and then as always give us a PP once the game is over so it looks better... Even the one power play we did have it was the most obvious trip I have ever seen on Barzal and the guy standing right there didn't put his arm up... WTF?!?!?!

How many quick whistles did their goalie get? meanwhile Varly has to cover for 30 seconds before the guy blows a whistle... fken B.S.

That game was a very important 2 points. this team MUST have home ice in playoffs or we are in trouble.

Capitals made themselves bigger and tougher.. and they were already big and tough. If you don't think their intention is to bully teams in the playoffs this year you are mistaken.. adding Chara 6' 9" 250 lbs and Mantha 6' 5" 240 to a team that already had Wilson 6' 4" 225, Carlsson 6'3" 220, OV 6' 3" 240, Brendan Dillon 6' 4" 225, Eller 6' 2" 220, ...etc. They are hoping to intimidate and push around other teams. .. IMO. They couldn't outskate and skill them last year.. so this was their answer.

With the league doing nothing about it, they're practically daring the Rangers to retaliate tomorrow night...while at the same time putting it all on the Rangers to "be the bigger team" and not do anything crazy.
