Finished 4th in the Division, and rode some Blackhawk vets and hot goaltending in the playoffs. His 1 good season was his 4th in Mora.

This coach is a failure , and could not coach a high school team. 2 -0 ,once again can't keep a lead. Disgraceful, but Theo does not seem to have a very critical opinion of the team just gives a report on them. J.J. IS BETTER !

Yeah if we're being honest I don't think the Canes really changed anything. I think Brind'amour went in the room and told them to pull their collective heads out of their asses because there's still something on the line.

They just woke up and stopped making unforced errors.

The Hawks gave him a two year extension before this season started. He is currently serving a purpose. That purpose is obviously not primarily winning games.

I would argue that - you are correct, which I noted in my post.

But I haven’t seen much from Colliton in the way of in-game adjustments that work.

Just my opinion - no stats or facts to back it up.

Not sure I follow. You note that most if not all the goals are due to player error, but that Colliton should have adjusted to something.

I'm not saying that Colliton is a good/great coach. Far from it. All I am asking is how to square individual mistakes being blamed on the coach.

The Hawks paid due to accomplishments, there are teams paying for what they hope to accomplish and never will. I’d rather have the former, which is cups in hand.

What contract besides Seabs was bad? And I don buy the could of gotten 19 and 88 for $2 mil. Less a year, especially with Brisson ( the Scott Boras of hockey) being the agent.
