All four officials should be suspended for the rest of the year. 4 minutes for roughing? At least one referee was staring right at it. should of been given a match penalty, and then as a repeat offender would of had to be suspended, for even longer than the 7 games he was in March.
You can't say he wasn't targeting the head. - LAHawk
The league thinks Wilson is good for the league.
I used to get worked up about dopes like Wilson. Then I realized that the owners and the players were fine with things the way they are. |

The department of player safety said something along the lines of "After Buchenevich going down it was just a wrestling match which happens every night."
Ridiculous.

The schedule was skewed this year. Wonder how they would fare next year assuming a normal schedule.
The good news is that they'll play FLA TB CAR 6 times next year instead of 24.The bad news is next year they'll play the Wings and Jackets 4 times instead of 16, along with an additional 5 or 6 each against COL, WPG, STL and MIN. There will also be a few of those California and Western Canada trips they haven't done too well on in recent years. - boilermaker100
Are you sure? If you can't travel to Canada at game 1, you can't have normal divisions. |

Yeah, but they'll play all the other crap teams in the league as well. I think the Central is about as close to representative of the league as you can get. Three top, three middle and two bottom. |

Yeah, I am surprused they didn't say it was Panarin's fault because he didn't get off the ice when his helmet fell off.

I’m not fine with it.
With each unpunished incident like this, I inch closer and closer to quitting the game. |

I'd understand and respect your choice. For me, I'd be tempted to make the same decision if the players were asking for more to be done to stop the garbage. Instead, the union protects guys like him. |

But then again they may be playing an 82 game schedule instead of 56, albeit with more time off between the games. Hope the youngsters don't get too burnt out 2/3 of the way through the season.

How about an 82 game schedule all within the division? 12 games against five teams, and 11 against two. |

They'll be able to travel to Canada.
We should have the vast majority of the population fully vaccinated by mid august. |

The only way you can show you can do it is to do it.
It's going to be Mrazek and Nedeljkovic unless somebody gets hurt. - BINGO!
Those two won't win you a cup. Just sayin' |

Did it with Cam Ward.
Binnington won one.
Raanta. Matt Murray. Etc. etc. etc.
You don't necessarily need a great goaltender, just an average one will be fine.

Seriously. There are places that aren't committing to schools being back open. How are they going to open stadiums. Also depends on how quickly Canada can get things under control. The numbers don't paint a pretty picture, but I don't live there/have any first hand info. |

When they win the cup, you can come back and tell me I was wrong.
I just don't think you'll be coming back, but of course just my opinion. They're both OK to good now, when the pressure it cranked up, they let in a bad goal, will they respond, history, says no. |

It definitely detracts from the more skillful aspect of the game, which the guy has none. I agree with you, but never see it coming to the rightful punishment of removing him from the league. Tons of douches in the game, but none to his psychotic level. Nhl probably says "it's the competitive aspect" or however it is labeled. It's dangerous & despicable, but not changing any time soon. |
