I'm wondering if Stan is following a pattern with his picks/prospects.

He drafted (in the higher rounds) a bunch of puck moving defensemen that were mostly average to smaller sized. He filled in around that with later picks and signings to add size and D.

More recently, he's been drafting higher skill forwards toward the top of the draft and has been signing/trading more Power Forward types to fill in around the edges.

Maybe worry about the high skill first and get the beef later.
