Not after that kill. Ah, what the heck, we're not making the playoffs for a while ...

& a Zadorov block early on. I'm greedy & really wanted another shorthander from Suter.

I'll admit that. However, to say that it is an adventure when Z has the puck on his blade is an understatement.

It is, plus he crashes into his own man all the damn time. I'm just giving credit where it's due.

Kane has more points than Crosby this season. Both have been healthy.. Entering tonight's game, Kane 62 and Crosby 56

Is that so. Wouldn't be surprised if it was other way around. Two elite players

Yup. They are now breaking down all over the ice. Lost discipline and the mistakes pile up.

I've flipped back and forth on him about three times this year, but I'm done with Strome (not that it matters). He either puts himself or someone else in a bad position too many times.

As I said earlier - skaters are playing well individually, can’t put it together as a team.

No communication, no understanding of where teammates are - that’s three of the four Carolina goals tonite.

Brind’Amour was able to make adjustments after the first period; Colliton hasn’t.

Mitchell’s fault on the first goal when he and Strome were trying to figure out where to go; Zadorov on the 4th, no looking at where Teravainen was going.

Well....I thought the Panarin for Saad trade was the worst in Bowman's era, but now thinking the Saad for Zadorov is a close 2nd.
Just wondering when our GM will clearly win a trade ? I'm really don't feel like reminiscing through his past ones.

First goal: confusion between Mitchell and the forward about who has the slot.

Second goal: face-off win, set play, shot from the blue line goes in with tons of traffic.

Third goal: partial breakaway after a turnover in the O-zone.

Fourth: Three Hawks glide in and cover the same guy leaving the middle of the ice wide open for TT.

Yeah, I'm gonna guess that Colliton already asked them to stop (frank)ing up. What adjustment is he supposed to make there?

Be prepared for more downs than ups over the next two years. Most of the rookies on the roster will, for all intents and purposes, still be rookies next year. There will still be a lack of experience on the roster and there may be even more rookies to begin breaking in.

Well, we'd be paying Artemi 11 mil, which no one would want. You don't make trades to win them, you make them to address areas of need. Physicality was a need, but so is him playing smart defense.

Then stop dismissing all the good trades he's already made and completely discounting the vastly different situations he's been in (trying to keep a PO/Cup contender going vs unloading contracts for picks/prospects.

There's plenty to like and build off this game. Skills were shown. Colliton can be given some credit for the good also.

Absolutely agree.... however....Rocky may not want to pay a real coach millions vs the 400K for JC.

Hawks have been outplayed since the first - Brind’Amour made adjustments with his admittedly much better team, Colliton hasn’t been able to counter.

I’m not yet saying Colliton won’t be a good coach - he as yet hasn’t proven anything yet - especially on in-game coaching.
