that's the part that gives me hope for the Canes. They're not the sexiest looking group of players by any stretch, but they're greater than the sum of their parts.

Bingo I totally agree. In a short series you guys can get hot and blow by any team.

Just have to have the goaltenders come through.

You got one of the better pairs of defenders and ton of good forward depth...besides the high end guys.

Go with Niemi instead.

Right, yeah. that's who I was thinking of. Damn Finns and their last names that are in no way similar to each other.

And a coach that has seemingly learned how to hit exactly the right buttons.

Doesn't seem to matter who is hurt or how many regulars are out of the lineup these days, they just keep trucking along.

And for some reason Big Z is still in the lineup.

FYI the Hawks lead the league in games played by rookies at 277. Next is NJD at 261

Big Z, didn't suck last night, which says a lot. He has a good game every now & then, but not enough to earn him another contract with us 🤞

As they should, punches a defenseless players head while he's laying down on the ice under him. Funny how dysfunction works they want to "protect the players" but they put a person in position who didn't get the memo, or has taken one to many hits to the head. I still can't believe they allow 2 players to punch each other smfh

The league thinks Wilson is good for the league.

I used to get worked up about dopes like Wilson. Then I realized that the owners and the players were fine with things the way they are.

- mohel

And they way things are is the league has ALWAYS had intimidators.

Gordie Howe had no trouble cutting your face with his stickand left everyone with stitches to get them off him.

Ferguson broke Bobby Hull's jaw, and was TRYING too hurt him PERIOD.

Most defenseman late hit with bone rattling checks and big dirty stick work.

This is not some new dynamic.

In this in case,he even broke cage fighting rules with the rabbit punches.

And boo freaking hoo for Panarin...if you wanna play in a big boy league and put hands on the big boy, expect to get grabbed tossed of hit, and Wilson left the gloves on to soften the
"blow".

Adb shorthander. I like him on the pk. Hawks look different from last night. Loose & better passing. Different than Canes so far.

He's got some pretty good wheels for a smaller guy.

Come on rpeters1 that was some good defense on that play. Let him build that overall game! He'll grow on you.

Ok Wiz
You are right.
I hope everyone in the league goes after Wilson.
He goes too far.
That is how hockey is, eh
Then let the players go after Wilson
Give him the Gordie Howe treatment
You can do this. But if I were Panarin I'd try to ensure a few teamattes hit him good. Pick on Wilsin night. Yes, even Panarin should get a sneaky stick in, or whatever. You dish it out, Wilson, you have to expect sooner or later to get it back. I would live for revenge.

Unless you are a *ussy and care only about your paycheck. Panarin can afford to take the boys out for steak and a few drinks too. But he ought to personally get some payback. The game forces you to deal with respect. Give it, get it. Just how it works.

The dreaded 2 goal lead. I expect Brindamour to read the riot act to the Canes during the intermission.
