Yep, regardless of the outcome, Sabres fans should be very grateful for the job Granato did to give the young guys confidence. Pretty much exactly what we could have hoped for from an interim coach. I hope he gets a real look

He made Tage, Mitts and Asplund into respectable NHL players. He finally made Reinhart a center. If this guy had been coach instead of Housley 4 years ago, who knows where we'd be.

I wanted him as a low-cost Larry replacement. For all of our collective sanity, I hope Eakin was a Ralph choice and not an Adams decision. God knows the analytics guy Nightingale wouldn't have signed off on that
