Think Eichel and Rhino need to be figured out fairly quickly. Think those decisions are just as important as the coaching. |

whelp...it took him four years to get a head coaching job and he's at 19-29-7 this season with a decent team - Michael Pachla
That team is good in a year. The division swallows up young teams.

I’ve had the yells and screams boss.
You do everything right and one thing wrong and it’s hell.
No thanks.
Basically it comes down to an age generation gap (no offense not a shot)
Older generation likes hard nosed yell and scream guy.
Younger generation thinks it’s a bad idea.
It’s what I have noticed even on social media. - ImThatGuy

He's safe. Mid-six. But I like the wingers better. More dynamic. More upside. - Michael Pachla
True but we need more leadership on this team
We need to have guys Willing to do anything to get the job done.

Rangers have enough cap space to take Jack AND skinner. NYC prob close enough for skinner to waive NMC.
I’ll take Laf and their first this year for both.
Rebuild with a fresh cap. Build an actual team instead of plugging holes with overpaid FA.
Beniers
Sam (still young enough to keep for 6 years)
Mitts
Cozens as your 4 centers.
Tons of cap. Lot of prospect depth. Another bad year next year and your ready to roll with that guy and all our young guys - Fattony1187
That trade proposal is terrible
Jack shouldn’t be used to get rid of Cap dumps |

There's a lot of chatter that Dolan has put out a mandate to the Rangers front office to do whatever it takes to get Eichel. - kingcong39
1-Fox
*since they don’t wanna give up Lafreniere/Kakko- idk if i want them anyways
2-Shesterkin
*if Georgiev is as good as their fans say, they should be thrilled to keep him- and we can let UPL continue his development slowly. Having 2 good young goalies isn’t a bad thing anyways imo
3-Top end picks:
-2023 1st bc i want another chance at Bedard
-2022 1st bc its a great draft with Wright & Lambert & Savoie at the top of it
-2021 1st bc f#ck them 😂😂😂
Yeah, i know that’s a lot
But they’re gonna have to outbid about half the league |

Torts hasn’t won anything in what 12 years?
Outside of Bowman no coach has won a cup with two different teams.
Ran a #1 center and it of Columbus because he wanted to punish him.
Guy he got in return was benched because when doesn’t fit.
For Torts you have to remake this entire roster. You have to have players that fit him. He doesn’t. Torts is a lot of square pegs in round holes.
It needs to be the other way around. Find a coach that gets the best out of this roster. - ImThatGuy
Except this didn’t happen
PLD was upset with how his contract was handled, asked for a trade, AND THEN got benched because he absolutely dogged shifts at the beginning of the season.
I already posted the explanation from PLD with him flat out saying he felt disrespected by his contract negotiations and that’s why he wanted out |

Jack Eichel's freshman year at college, when he was 18. One of the most ridiculous season's of production you can see.

It’s almost like the NHL has changed and Torts has refused to change with it.
If they hire Torts they will be looking for a new coach in 3 years.
I want your next boss just to yell and scream and be an ass all the time. Let me know how quickly you get sick of it. - ImThatGuy
Or maybe when your office is the worst performing over 10 years, the new manager comes in and gets rid of double standards and holds everyone accountable to the same standard of being the best each can be.
Maybe you'll really like that atmosphere....alot. |

Spot on, totally agree.
The Don has proved that in a very challenging year, including using 5th and 6th string goalies.
He is very good relating to the youngins.

wow even Lockport math doesn't show that
we get it, you hate him
you asked for young players that thrived under torts, I listed SEVERAL
hell a third rounder, Bjorkstrand, put up 44 points in 56 games this year, his best
same for Roslovic
maybe if these millennials laid it all on the line, every shift, this wouldn't be an issue
the same can be said for the millennials on the sabres roster AKA suck sisters deux - homiedclown
I hate to burst your bubble, but with the exception of Jumbo Joe, Chara and Marleau, every player in the NHL is a millennial or Gen z

Idk. I think he’s exactly what is needed at this time.
With the emergence of 74,37,72 etc into that middle six area, and Reinhart playing well at center, this team is absolutely ready to make the playoffs with some goaltending and a healthy Eichel and subtracting Risto.
But they don’t know how to show up every game and that’s something Torts will have them doing when he first gets here.
The only time Torts had an upper echelon talented team he won the cup - sbroads24
That emergence corresponded to the Granato hiring. Does he not deserve credit for that? |

Yes he does, we can all say what we want or hope. We just gotta believe that Adams and Karmanos get it right. |
