I don't think this is stupid at all. On paper, you're probably not wrong.

I still think they need some veteran sandpaper (no, not face-punchers, for those in the "patty-cake crowd").

from a 2020 bleacher report on the nfl's fastest players:

"Matt Breida is such a smooth runner. He's ridiculously fast, too.

In both 2018 and 2019, he finished the regular season as the fastest ball-carrier in the NFL. Brieda touched 22.09 mph in 2018 and improved to 22.3 mph last season. Impressively, the former came on an otherwise forgettable 33-yard run. He didn't need much space to reach league-leading speed.

Despite seeing his role fluctuate annually, Breida has 2,463 scrimmage yards in three seasons with the 49ers."

on pace for thousand yard rusher his rookie season

got hurt second seaon

their o line got worse over time (his 3 years there)

5.4 yards per carry his rookie season

could be a 50 catch guy each year out of backfield

untapped potential, but he gone so doesn't matter now

Perhaps you're not taking into consideration the losing culture it created and how extremely difficult it has been to break free from
- Michael Pachla

It took Bill Zito all of 15 minutes to surround Barkov and Huberdeau with better players than Tallon did in the span of years in Florida.

In one offseason he was able to sign Verhagee, Wennberg, Duclair, Gudas.

Trade Matheson and Scevioir for Hornqvist.

Then he put the icing on the cake at the deadline by acquiring Montour, Bennett, and signing Gusev to supplement their high end players.

With all due respect I think you’re putting the cart before the horse, surround Eichel, Dahlin, Reinhart, Mitts, Cozens, and Joker with NHL talent and the culture change will come because they will finally have a good roster

It is amazing what competent management can do for a team.

I believe the Sabres interviewed Zito, was it during the GM search that they decided on Botterill?

171-221-60 and .445 points percentage since they tanked for jack--both worst in the league...

florida 'non-tanking' panthers record under tallon from 17-18 to 19-20 was 115-88-30 with a .558 points percentage

you're move

Exactly. I don’t count last year with the dolphins. That team on offense was a mess

Went to Ann Arbor last Friday...

Ann Arbor > Ithaca

But still felt like there was waaaaay too much hype surrounding what ended up being a really dinky downtown area and just a bunch of gorgeous houses.

The dispensaries are a nice touch
