Oh wait, that’s pronounced shy-town, isn’t it?

I hope your teams stomps the Lightning, and especially so if Kucherov does return for the playoffs.

yotes have young players

wings and sens have prospects and proven players

hell colorado or the canes could make a sweet offer for sub .500 jack

- homiedclown

As Broads has suggested, Rantanen plus Byram is an intriguing start.

Sure, point taken.

However the Panthers held on to their elite players they bottomed out for.

- Pegullaville

Lol, you say this as if bottoming out was some kind of plan.... they just flat out sucked

when you blogged you watched most of the sabres games, right?

I mean if you are going to throw statements about the panthers, at least do more then cherry pick a record against 1 team

the bolts, panthers, and canes have 16 games against the other 2 teams

despite that, all 3 have top 4 records in the nhl, so they are , all three, probably really good teams

I am no panther expert, only seen about 12 of their games and it's not like they are losing games 8-4

- homiedclown

well...cherry picking is how it works here...right?...and second, i've watched plenty of the sabres vs. the east this year plus additional games from the likes of pitt, wash, rags and isles...i also know what tampa brings to the table and what carolina brings as well...

i'll be watching the first round between tampa and florida...

that being said, this whole season is an outlier because of covid and the realignment...

if i'm wrong, i'm wrong...nuthin personal

I don’t think Drury has been that concussed in his career...

Who’s your coach?!? Have you decided yet?

- Gr8daygo

of that group what would you say is a reasonable package for echl from a non-concussed drury?

Minnesota, hell Calgary has some good young players. Lots of teams that could throw decent packages together.

F. THE. RANGERS.

Not the right pieces for a deal to get done. And jack is only moved if 1) he wants out and 2) the offer forces you to say yes.

I don’t think the rangers have those pieces.

- Gr8daygo

Depends on what you value in the return.
Lafreniere
Zibby
Buch
K'Andre Miller
Lindgren
Chytil
2021-1st unprotected

Those guys are all young sans Zibby, and are faring pretty well...but would need to have a package of 4 to 5 of them.

The slashes mean one of each pairing, not all 6.

In that case, the problem I have with the rangers is I want a center back and I’m not sold on kappo. I like the goalie thought and the Miller thought. But lack of center coming back makes me look elsewhere.

Maybe, if you can turn Risto & Olo into a 2c. But I not sure who that looks like.

I’m glad I’m not Adams this offseason.

If the Sabres select Beniers with their pick in the upcoming draft, do they still need a Center?

They'd have Reinhart, Mittelstadt, Cozens, and Beniers.

if skunk is a true center now (which i don't really believe,) then there's really no need for one in return if you go with:

skunk
cozens/mitts

as your top three

Do you think you can win with Rhino, Cozens and Mitts up the middle?

If so, bolster your wings.

maybe rag on the team with the 31st record instead of a team tied for 3rd in the nhl

I still say if you move jack, you move skunk as well and build around casey, joker, dahlin, cozens, asplund, borgen, tage, artuu, etc

and the returns you get for those 2 guys

YES! Yes they do!!!

Samson has played how many games there?

Mitts is just starting to look ok, might be ready for 3c but 2c AGAIN! I’m not going there yet.

Cozens, second year. He’s not there yet! But he will be!

Berniers.... rookie. I’m not doing that AGAIN!

If you are trading jack, you NEED at minimum a proven 2c back. Or high end prospect back in the package.

Im only moving off that if you find that center by trading risto & Olo for them.

Rantanen and Mac have great chemistry.

Easy pass on that. We would be trading away the center that would help out rantanen

The rules allow it, if the player isn't healthy. That's the problem here. No one believes them and the league turns a blind eye.
