He made Tage, Mitts and Asplund into respectable NHL players. He finally made Reinhart a center. If this guy had been coach instead of Housley 4 years ago, who knows where we'd be.

Pretty sure we would have made the play-in round last year at the very least

Dahlin and Joker looked better, Rusto looks like a player. Borgen didn't look out of place. A lot to like and he had a big hand in that.

At the same time, that shouldn't disqualify him from coaching the team if they're keeping 9 and 23. But if they want to hire BBQ Bruce to make everyone feel better, I get it

I truly don't know anything personally so I don't want to say. I've heard things third hand but I don't want to pass that along as gospel. I heard the Pegulas were selling a minority stake and then three days later they said they weren't. I'm not plugged in directly (or indirectly for that matter)

I don't want to hire someone to make everyone feel good, I want to hire someone who relates to the players in a system that works for them and Granato seems to have done that. Keep Eichel, show Rhino some respect and give him a decent contract. Go get a RD that can take care of the Dzone and unleash Dahlin. If McCabe isn't ready go and get a LD that works with Joker. Trade Risto for picks or a decent RW. And get a goalie you can count on and let's see what this team can do.

Thanks, but just a fan who has a lot of respect for Granato, especially after all the stuff I have read about him. Plus probably wouldn't make it more than a couple hours cause I would have told Terry and Kim to kiss my Ass.

There's no point in playing the what-if game anymore. The Sabres are where they are. And there are no excuses for Adams either: it's his show with a capable AGM. They get to pick the coach and decide the direction of the franchise
