year over year dahlin saw a significant uptick in 5v5 often times playing against the top lines in the league...his '19-20 +/- was -7 while his '20-'21 +/- is a league-worst -36

that's a tough one...ullmark for anything more than 3yrs./$4.5m doesn't do it for me...don't know where his camp gets off on No. 1 goalie money and term for a netminder who's been no more than a 1A in both play and games-played...

if eichel goes to the rags, one of their goalies comes back in return or if it's the ufa route i'd look at dreiger or stopgaps in m. smith, dubi, dell or bernier...maybe trade for holtby...

if all else fails, give me someone with an nhl pulse...jfc, look what we've just seen this past season, can't get any worse

they'd be better off framing it as moving on from the bad fruit (not him as a player, but as part of this concept) from a bad tree (tanking)

it's possible, especially as captain...he's the face of the tank and the losing culture it started...he's also their most talented player who's under contract for the next five seasons
