Really...
This is your original post. Very little said about Vigneault. - SuperSchennBros
I know I didn’t mention the coach by name, but it’s not much a stretch to figure out who I was referring to. |

Did Giroux and Voracek play tonight? Just asking for a friend. This is why this team has had a losing culture for 10 years now! They play when they feel like it. The season's over and let's mail it in. Eff these guys! Team hasn't won back to back games in whatever....another character check. Get these ingrate turds outta here! So sick of this shyte year after year! Oh, and please remove Nolan Patrick from this roster. He has to be the worst player in the entire league. As soon as I saw him taking the faceoff in overtime I predicted that the Caps would win the game on that shift.....and wa la! He sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is he a -30 yet? Too many soft losers on this team. I mean, the Caps had half of their roster missing and still outplayed these losers badly. Enough is enough! Thanks!!! |

Not when you’re talking about the player. You haven’t made yourself clear at all. |

A lot of players on this team played much better last year than this year. Why? I don't think anyone knows. In particular, Hayes has been a disappointment this year. For example, just about every time he had the puck tonight, he turned it over. He seems like he's in slow motion out there. |

(frank)ing terrible.
Lindros was top-5 player in the league for years before concussions derailed him.
Patrick wasn't even a top-5 forward on the Flyers before he got knocked out.
Is he behind the 8-ball after missing so much time? Yeah. Was he that good to begin with? Nope. - Tomahawk
So concussions cannot derail an athlete’s career unless you’re a hall of fame player. Wow, I’m learning a lot tonight. Is it appropriate to lower the bar to Primeau or Gagne?

I’m also blown away I’m the only one who remembers Umberger was a -32 his second season. |

for sure.
i think i may have been overly generous with my offer of a third rounder.
it does suck for the kid. if hes not right physically he shouldnt be out there. you have to assume he is. im not a doctor obviously, but i would think he is technically healthy. but you have to wonder just how much its caused him to be timid, second guess, overthink etc. so he might be "right" but the ghost of the injury is probably impacting him through and through. hes a "size" player who is mentally held back from incorporating it into his game. so you get what you see, a big guy largely skating in circles. - stayinthefnnet
Dunno... like I said before, missing time isn't doing him any favors, but his main problem is that he's probably never been capable of being that good of an NHL player.
Like Sam Bennett and Jake Virtanen, fans are gonna continue to believe that there's still some hidden superstar under all that mediocrity, despite the mountain of evidence suggesting otherwise. You know, because draft busts don't regularly happen or something.
NP was drafted high on the back of being 'NHL ready', being a jack of all trades and his family legacy. Not because he was a world-beater in any particular way. |

It’s not only a matter of missing time. It’s why he did. It’s something that’s documented of bothering him most of his life. |

Sam Bennett has been huge for the Panthers. I remember a bunch of people here on this board wanted us to trade for him over the last few seasons. |

It's his time of year. Like clockwork he turns into a beast when the chips are down.
Then disappoints again in the fall and winter.
You can only hope NP finds that kind of niche w/ the Flyers. But I don't see even a fraction of SB's fire from Patrick. |

Def didn’t live up to his draft position but he was very good for that Calgary playoff run not too long ago. But other than that very meh and he was always in trade rumors every season it seemed. |

I hope NP does man. While he had a disappointing season, a lot of guys did this year. Whole team was a let down really. Aside from the obvious bad play, just seems like something was really off with the team this year vs last year. Everything is better when you’re winning, but even this season when we were playing bad and somehow winning early on, our team didn’t have the same up-beat relaxed feel like they did last year. |
