We know factually when Patrick’s issues have been. After watching Eric Lindros play and being a dominant player, just for concussion to derail his career, I feel like there is a real chance we could be watching this in Patrick. The same people who were making fun of Lindros in the 90’s show sympathy now. I feel those same people will do the same if and when Patrick’s career is cut short.

Yeah, no offense, but what the hell. No one ever waited for Lindros. As soon as he came in it was lights out. Were talking about an NHL hall of famer here. As soon as I saw patrick out in OT and his sluggish attempt to retreive the puck on the boards I was like.. "aww poop". And then boom. Game over. Oy vey.

Patrick wasn't even a top-5 forward on the Flyers before he got knocked out.

Is he behind the 8-ball after missing so much time? Yeah. Was he that good to begin with? Nope.

He and the team and the team doctors claim he is healthy enough to play. He’s had an entire season to show any signs that he can return to form. He has not shown any signs of improving at all. I’m not saying he should be given up on, but maybe don’t put him on the ice with a minute to go in regulation and in OT.

The funny part is most of the players on the Flyers would look pretty good on other teams, but together they all suck.

Tonights game was just ANOTHER example of it's not skill the Flyers lack, it's effort and passion as a whole. They got whooped by a completely stripped lineup. The Flyers could land some big named skilled players this offseason and I wouldn't be surprised one bit if they look like half the player while wearing a Flyers jersey. The question is why does that happen and when that is answered changes can be made.

Moron! I bring up Lindros because Lindros was a Flyer. What other random name would you like me to use? So because Patrick’s skill level doesn’t reach Hall of Fame levels, his health shouldn’t be considered?

Myers is such a Wuss, he is so afraid to make contact with players, IMO he will never be a top defender in this game. Already York is showing he is more physical than Myers.

If he can play like he has in the last few games ....Myers that is ....then that’s a guy that can really be a help next year. Trust me I agree he has played like poop this year, but he has showed the type of game of late that has the Flyers still excited about his future.
