Wings fan (insert joke here____) - but moved back home to Ontario recently so I have been able to catch a lot of Leafs games this season (and they are my dad and brothers team).

My question: Is Rielly just this bad this year? Smooth skater but not necessarily fast and a ton of weird decisions with the puck.

My opinion is he's not particularly good at anything this year. He's not dangerous with the puck nor does he have a shot nor is he a defensive stalwart

Still a good player but not what he was shaping up to be last couple years

The theory is that he doesn't have enough to give the game after Tessa virtue is done with him

He’s still good at outlets passes, skating the puck out and zone entries. He and the whole PP have fallen to poop.

Anyway, once hockey players end up with women who have done anything themselves, they’re done

Overall he's a smooth skater, not super fast and makes odd decisions with the puck.

Good in general but makes questionable reads at key moments in the game that drive you crazy. Could be biased though, maybe all top pairing dmen do that due to playing so many minutes against good players and I just don't notice it.

When he had the puck on that 4 on 2 rush and did nothing, I actually said "what the (frank) was that!?" to my T.V.
At least when Holl is caught like a deer in headlights on a 2 on 1 you can say "well it's Holl." Rielly is supposed to know what the (frank) he's doing. But all year it's been one giant "the (frank)?"
