i think a lot of people aren't really themselves right now because of it. it's a pandemic though. it's not something anybody is really mentally prepared for because what are the chances, you know? people should be proud of the fact that they've gotten this far, still following the rules and doing what they feel is right, even though it's such a drain mentally.

I’m not French but I think it’s ok for Canadiens to have French players since it’s French market. Or Canadiens could at least hire translator for the players if they decide not to have French players. Montreal is special market.

Totally agree, the only thing I like about covid is working from home and no lineups for doctor/dental appt if I need to go

I won’t say all 31 teams, I would say it may be only for half the teams if not less, also having a French speaking GM and coach is more than enough but having at least one player from Quebec is asking for a lot. What’s important is to ice a winning team

Personally think Montreal needs to clean house with management, scouting and coaching. A whole new fresh team coming in at the same time would help to facilitate real change this organization needs.

Now, it’s no guarantee to work obviously. But, do we really want to keep doing the same thing over and over again and magically expect different results? That’s the definition of insanity.

I would say 2 of those 3 contracts need to go.

I am fairly certain Price cannot be moved, unless the Habs make a sweet deal with the Kraken.

I don’t think they will go, but not protecting Weber and asking Price to lift his NMC would go a long way towards showing management knows what needs to happen for this franchise to right the ship. I think Drouin has played his last game wearing the bleu, blanc, rouge but not sure what they’ll be able to get for him now though...

Honnestly, I don't think anyone can answer that, maybe not even Drouin himself. He has talent for sure and when he has it together, he can be a nice complementary piece, when he doesn't he can become a huge distraction and hurt not only himself but the team, it's a real shame
