Foligno - Matthews - Marner
Galchenyuk - Tavares - Nylander
Hyman - Kerfoot - Simmonds
Thornton - Brooks - Spezza

- mr.peanut

Or replace Brooks with Mikheyev. Spezza moves to the middle

Thanks, I must admit even though we’ve played them 10 times, I’ve not really taken notes of their line-up...too busy cursing Matthews and Marner lol

If he did, Caufield would have played with KK at least once LOL

And in the intermission tonight, Friedman reported that Bergevin and Molson are discussing the future... I cannot for the life of me comprehend how he could sign him to an extension before seeing how this team does in the playoffs...i’m speechless

- Karine Hains

Gonna be the old "we had so many injuries and the schedule was tough because of so many games and....." whatever word(s) he wants to use this year to replace accountability or trades are hard or whatever.

Have people forgotten that MB sold the world the signing of players like Perry and Frolik, etc.. was a sign on team depth to manage injuries and hard schedule?

That was the whole plan on how to make it a winnable season.

The Habs have some nice pieces, and yes MB is responsible for getting those in the organization, but his inability to move on from players like Drouin and Weber (and whatever plug he finds to replace Perry or Staal next season) is the reason the Habs will continue to a borderline playoff team (at best).

Someone needs to come in and get rid of the dead wood in the organization and build with the solid assets we have. Because MB is too chicken poop to admit to his mistakes and do what is right for the organization..

Yup, Gretzky did it in 34 games but it was a different era... He really is amazing... as we said when Caufield scored, if there had been a crowd in Edmonton tonight, that building would have been rocking

not even an oilers fan and i cheered lol

As much as I respect the 40 Matthews got? McD is WAY more impressive.

Yeah good for him, and to be honest, it is good for hockey.

Too bad his is on a fairly poopty team.

That’s precisely why someone else needs to be in the driver’s seat for the expansion draft. MB won’t make the right calls and it will hurt long term

You know he won't expose Weber (as he should) or Drouin (I am 50/50 on that one, I think they can get something semi-useful back for him) or even ask Price to waive his NTC.

I don't want Roy to be GM (I think it would be a disaster, maybe even as big as Houle), but that guy would have the balls to get poop done.

Meh, the scouting staff hasn't really changed in YEARS. It's easy to pin it on MB, but if his scouting info had been the same as over the last 10+ years? That's not all on him.
