Look at you going out to restaurants and drinking awful booze while we’re all stuck at home drinking craft bear, gin and Guy Lafleur’s wine...uh, well, lock-down isn’t that bad I guess lol - Karine Hains
i had a really good club sandwich if that helps. |

i feel like anyone who has ever made the mistake of even buying one has a legitimate case. |

Hell, I'm looking into brewing my own. (Including spruce beer...boozy or not, I miss those flavours.) |

That's the easiest thing to make. As long as you don't dry out the chicken, you're good. Hardly a benchmark. |

Speaking of amazing things happening in lockdown, my hair is now past my shoulder blades. It was never this long even in the 80s, while in high school.
And I usually rock it with a #4 from the barber.
Getting close for the big buzz when it warms up though.

we're unconfined but it's still only like every third table is available so we do still have some rules.
and something really weird was going on. you're allowed to sit at the bar since like last weekend or the weekend before so i expected a ton of mouth breathers to be shoulder to shoulder at the bar but nobody was sitting there for like the first hour we were there and then right at the end like one person went up and sat there. |

for those thinking next year will be easier..... |

That’s even longer than Bergevin’s hair, that’s saying something!
I realized today that I’ve not worn a watch since March 13, 2020... and I used to love watches...guess time doesn’t matter much anymore when you’ve got nowhere to go lol |

also, kickbro ordered that and i ordered the roast beef dip sandwich thing and then we just gave each other half. so that was nice. that sandwich wasn't anything special until you dipped it though. |

I remember when I went from the frullet (half afro, half mullet...I have curly hair) to av shaved head. Felt SO good once it was done, given my apprehension. Never looked back. |

Juiciness is a huge factor, especially if you have a good broth to dip it in. I always make a roasted broth after any turkey dinner. Roasted bones make a huge difference in flavour depth. |

that's cool, barely any "risks" then... somehow this reminds me about yesterday, I bought flowers, some chocolate and a greetings card for mother's day at Jean Coutu (a pharmacy), the cashier told me I could buy everything there, but for the card they asked me to go through the drive-thru to buy it, where you normally pick up your prescriptions, because it isn't an essential product... how this world can be so (frank)ing ridiculous will never cease to amaze me.

Yeah, well I do have a reason.
Once my 14-year-old nephew got his last chemo therapy, and his hair started to grow back, we made a promise to get our next hair cut together.
Covid kinda put a damper on that happening already, but we are both rocking the wild hair - his forever enshrined in the school yearbook - and the plan is still in place, once things calm down a little more.
And yeah, I love the shorter hair, takes 30 seconds to fix it in the morning.
