Both of these players are overrated imo - CanuckDon
He's been on Norris ballots the past two years, 26 years old. Ufa next summer so Clb has to be smart. Has great defensive measures even though he's on a average at best team.

Good player but he isn’t an all around stud number 1 imo. Recognize that people will disagree. We shouldn’t be trading for a pending UFA. His next contract could put any team in trouble
I think Clark goes top 3. Mason is interesting for sure - CanuckDon
Ya, he should be top 3. He might even go 1st. He is a good defenseman. Some nice defenseman available in 2nd and 3rd maybe even 4th round.
I know that most players didn't play or get scouted much this season, but I am sure scouts had a pretty good look at these kids last year and whatever games they played this year.

It woukd be a trade where a contract is prenegotiated or you don't do it, i agree.

Weird draft though, top 10 is up in the air after power from everything ive read cause of covid/limited play
I agree about Venom. The Carnage reveal looked like a video game. (The new Residential Evil game is pretty neat)
I just posted it hot off the press. Maybe if Marvel had more of a hand in it, like Spiderman. Even then, they wouldn't go hard R. Carnage needs hard R.

Even without the limited play, it was going to be a draft that would be hard to predict, as it has some quality players and some nice tier 2, 3 and 4 players.
Why not both? Why waste draft selections / prospects for a quick fix? Benning has said 2 more years. Guess who is a UFA in 2 more years. Yup, Seth Jones. If that was the guy you wanted as an organization you should be doing everything you can now to plan for that.
Good spot. Worked at the Harbour House for years. The Chef at Wild Mountain was there for a bit as well before he opened his restaurant. Good guy. - Load Management

I don't know if we can afford a UFA Dman like Jones.
Maybe in a few years when all the dead weight is off the books.
I did a dinner at Ed’s farmhouse. 20 of us, 17 courses, brought our own wine, amazing!
Did my Somm certificate with Benjamin and Jean-Nicolas in 2000 - 1970vintage
Nice, I started there in 03, was working at the Empress in 2000. Haven't seen Jean-Nicholas in years. Run into Ben around town once in a while. Ed has a butcher shop in town and just opened a food truck. I'd assume after Covid we'll run into each other more. Fred still stops me for a long conversation every time I see her, but again, it's been a while. Sinclair got really sick a year or so ago, not sure how he's doing. Looked like crap when I ran into him last year at the local pharmacy. That's all I've got aside from the drama of the last 4 years. The news covered that pretty well.
