Not sure, but I think they re-seed after the divisional winners are determined, so point total could possibly determine home ice and opponents in the last two rounds. But it's so speculative that I tend to agree with you that teams won't want to risk injury to their top players.

I wanted Palmieri as well. I thought he was a better fit this team. I am not ready to say that the trade was a bust. I was not sold on Halls attitude.

Lets see what the playoffs bring. Hopefully Varly is okay.
