Remember when Babcock wouldn't play Matthews and Marner together?
I miss that. - Scabeh
Nobody misses Babcock. Well except every opponent in the playoffs facing the leafs. That whole Marleau "was due" for a goal on the second PP unit.
I still remember the bruins saying they only had to kill half a penalty when Matthews was on the ice and the rest was easy.

I wonder who gets the start to begin the playoffs if Andersen plays well tomorrow. - Scabeh
Campbell I would assume. His until it’s not.

Allen - Woderwick
Bold move asking our goaltender to goal for you.
But I'm open minded.
Let's see how it plays out.

That bothered me, I still don't know each PP unit had to have 1 minute of ice time per power play.. Just load up on your stars and giv'er |

We got the short version. Others took an hour to fill out. - Woderwick
Ooooh, my bad.
I didn't realize they had also brought back the long form (I just did the short one).
Nothing to see here.
Please disburse.
Remain calm. |

I don’t miss it.
What did you think of Anderson crying to the ref because he lost a physical battle with Hutton? |

If it isn't Campbell, I'm going to throw poop at Keefe. |

I must have gotten the long version. There was a lot more to it than that. - shack67
15 minutes here, but I do know of hour longers. |

Spezza is a sharp cookie. That boy knows how to hockey. I’d go out on a limb and say he has the best hockey brain on that team. Love that guy. - Woderwick
Everything but the no-look passes behind him. He’s been good with us but I’ve noticed a couple lately. 🥴 |

that decision, plus giving someone like Matthews more ice time than Wayne Simmonds has really paid off for Keefe. |

The extreme stubborness of Babs is something that I will not miss.
He was willing to go down with the ship rather than admit his carefully configured strategy might be flawed.
It's almost like teams evolved and figured out how to beat predictable Babcock in-game tactics.
Keefe? Sometimes I think he's a bit too willing to turn on the line blender. But I'm just going to assume it's all calculated and he's just trying to figure out optimum configurations for the playoffs (which he'll scramble again quickly enough if they don't work). |
