Also, if we win our last two games we could end up seeded second overall and I think no lower than fourth. Would be helpful depending how first two rounds go, said in a completely non-jinxing way. - Canada Cup
Leafs have second best road record in the league. |

You'd better not be slagging Icky Woods, or you're in bigger poop than you already are.
But if not, yeah, a Florida panther could basically take anyone else from that sorry franchise. |

Pretty sure division winners seat 1-4 so they can't drop to fifth based on points. - bobbyisno1
Going into round three, we have more points than all the teams in the East so we will be seeded at least 3rd. If we win our last two we will finish ahead of Florida and Pittsburgh and Carolina if they lose tonight. We just have to win one to finish ahead of TBL and Minnesota.
So, in a non-jinxing way, we have a good chance of home ice in third round depending on next two games and how first two rounds play out.
Assuming, you know….. |

It's a really bad situation in Buffalo.
I mean, I know they are division rivals and all, but the Buffalo fans don't deserve this much poop.
Although I will say this: the Pegula era is still miles better than the Ballard era.
And I don't think many Sabres fans had much sympathy for us through those dark times. - Atomic Wedgie
I know what you're saying - but it's because of the Ballard years that I have sympathy for any fan of a team with a terrible owner with the notable exception of Ottawa.
I'm with you. I also know we're rivals, and maybe it's that I've never had any REAL reason to dislike Buffalo - we've met in the playoffs once that I can recall, and they did thump us, but still . . . - after 10 straight years of pretty more than bad, the fans deserve more, or at least something. |

Just screwing around on the Googles - the last playoff win by the Bungles was 1990.
Were you even born in 1990, Frenchie?
I don't feel so bad as a Leafs fan now. |

No, I get that. I’m talking about when playoffs start. I assume all teams play all their games. If the last 3 Canuck-Flames games are meaningless, do we assume they are play while the playoffs are underway? - Canada Cup
I would hope they do this but they eyeballs would be so few on those meaningless games. I think they HAVE to play them because of tv deals and etc but man oh man will they suck. I bet there would be very little hitting or enthusiasm from the teams so they can just get them done.

I need to kill 10 minutes at work.
Who does Seattle take from the leafs?
I think Kerfoot could be had and he is good enough for that team. |

Bad contract.
Pick Dermott Fine 5-6 defender who costs almost nothing. |

He is 2 more years at 3.5. Seattle needs to get to the floor.
Dermott is another option.

Edit:
It appears we are going to have to expose one of Holl or Brodie, to meet experience requirements. |
