Seriously the only thing they could do is this:

Come out saying they're going to spent $50 million of their own money to remodel the Key Bank Center, announce they're hiring a president of Hockey Ops, and then say they will not be involved in the team in any way other than signing their paychecks

My one thing about Adams is he is very well spoken in the press conferences he's had even if they're calculated answers.

He will come out and say we are following the recommendation of are Doctors, and PT at this point was recommended.

I want him holding his cards close and making the best Jack Eichel deal possible to help this franchise move forward. And if that means giving vanilla answers, so be it.

Don't tip your hand. Don't get into a war of words in the media with the captain. Don't screw this up. This is franchise altering stuff right here.

Couldn't agree more, unfortunately Jack lit the stick, Adams is gonna get hit hard, and unfortunately for him this organization deserves it.

how many teams can take on eichels cap hit now and in the future seasons. not many. mostly rebuilding ones who dont want to give up their young assets/picks.

Agreed that this is a bad day for the Sabres, but I dont agree that it's even close to losing Drury and Briere. I loved those guys and the city embraced them like nothing I've ever seen before, even in 99.

Do people care about Risto, Jack and Sam like that? If so, I just dont get it. We've won nothing with them. Go get a haul for these players and turn the page on the tanks years once and for all.

Does the NFL ownership peers and leadership allow this to happen? At what point does Bettman and other owners and nhl leadership step In and say Terry, come on man, you are hurting us, you are hurting the NHL hockey brand in a loyal market, smarten up or sell.

no because look at PHX. bettman has done everything there to get solid ownership in place. for bettman a bad owner is better then no owner/constant ownership turnover

idk man, sounds like spirits were super high coming in to this season. risto said the team believed this was the best team they had in years. they signed (frank)ing taylor hall.

then perhaps the worst coaching job of all time happened and things exploded now every player wants to leave.

he can get a marginal return and the team will be better than they are now. we finally hit rock bottom this year i think.

Thanks, I sure hope we get something to cheer about in the near future. I'm not one to wallow in and take delight in #suffering. All I want for Christmas is a competitive team
