Ahhh, GREAT ADD! Done. We're on a good roll here...
DeAngelo
Tkachuk
Wilson

Who else can they get to roster the mosted hated team in the NHL?

- IonSabres

Add Chara, Lucic and Kadri to the above 3 and this team would be insane. All the cream puffs would instantly play with an edge they never knew they had

I really don't know what people expect in these interviews. I expect a little more positivity then what we saw today, they haven't been here as long and been apart of as much losing.
- Buff36

I expect them to do their best at hiding their depression that they're stuck in this dumpster fire that every decent player wants to get out of as quick as they can. And they'll say they like Donnie Meatballs.

Today was true Buffalo Sabres under Kerry and Tim...

1st - EK's BS post about Davidson and Torts. Holy crap that is fvcking funny sh¡t right there.

2nd - Jack tells Adams to Jack-off, he's done here.

3rd - Sam tells Adam's, he's going to Arb to be a goner in 1 year and there isn't a GD thing he can do about it.

4th -Risto tells Adams..Whatever Dude..I'm gone in 1 year.

I'm expecting The Don to tell Adams... fvck you and you interviews..I'll have plenty of opportunity without this poop show.

Maybe Bettman will offer to buy the team back rather than watch this once-proud team descend into the abyss.

(frank) you Kerry...(frank) you Tim..you get what you sow.
I hope this team folds.

GO BOLTS!!!

- IonSabres

Donnie ends up in AZ.

I don't expect the kids to sound as sad as the vets were. I think on some level many of them were excited to move forward and ready to take the reigns. I wonder if in the back of Cozens mind he sees a path to being captain.

Yeah the kids aren't dead inside yet.

I'm hopeful tomorrow we get something interesting from Adams

Not trying to be a wiener, I just don't know what people expected after another horrible season and 2 days after it ended. I would think any person would want time to think things through.

I can recall early I the year saying Eichel shouldn’t be playing hurt as it may cost the team the year. Got lots of criticism from a lot of posters on this site. It appears by him playing hurt I underestimated the cost.

I can't imagine what we could get from Adams tomorrow. I am sure that he will say that they have no intention of trading Jack. He'll say that they are interviewing coaches and that Donnie did a good job. He'll say that new players will be coming in.

Well when it comes to the Sabres, I'm dead inside. I wasn't dead inside during the losing streak.

Sticking with his philosophy of having players who want to be a Sabre and are proud to wear the jersey, he has to get rid of these vets.

Donny Meatballs showed us there are options, the kids can play. These vets (55, 23, 9) started on a team with a drunk GM, a mentally unstable goalie, a bankrupt wanna be rockstar, and an ego driven hero (it did get him a cup, still big ego). They have the stink on them, the kids don't....yet, Adams needs to be aggresive.

I guess I thought there would be a little more positivity with the way the kids played after Ralph was canned. Instead we just got "(frank) this place, I'm out". Sam showed zero interest in anything about this team and, I think, Jack keeps all this behind closed doors if he thinks there's a positive path forward.

You know watching those exit interviews, I really don't think I saw anything I didn't expect, well other than Jack. If you expected peaches and cream then that's on you. With Jack it was a little surprising with the injury take. But it probably is different with athletes, but I can say first hand that Doctors won't do Surgery unless a certain amount of PT is performed and it was 8 sessions for my Surgeries on my shoulder, and when I had my fusion surgery on my neck it was about the same. But really hard to tell with this organization, they don't deserve the benefit of doubt.
- Buff36

jack sounded like a player who is under contract with his present team and he resigned himself to that fact...he knows it's a business and he knows that he needs to look out for himself as much as possible...

things that weren't pointed out in the media because of "disconnect" and "playing somewhere" and "that's not how it works"--he had a non-contact broken rib injury in camp and an ankle sprain this year, last year he had some abdominal issues...he also said that the sabres were in the toughest division in hockey...

he also mentioned with his neck injury that when his hopefully long career is over, his role will change to a family man...it's pretty obvious this is an injury that can affect that future and he wants to get it taken care of in the right way...

This team is the definition of fun.

If fun meant sorrow, misery, depression and failure.

I can't believe I'm even thinking this let alone saying it, but I'm.. ugh.. interested in hearing Kevyn's side of this.

Can't wait to watch them bungle some trades of players they don't even need to trade.

only reason it was tough is because the other 7 teams each got 8 games vs the sabres to pad their stats

2 takes

1. Jack didn't need to call out the Sabres upper management and owners but he chose to anyhow

2. when asked if he wanted to be traded, first worlds out of his mouth was
“I have a lot of thinking to do"

hopefully we get a decent return and someone decent wears #9 for my 4th nameplate on that jersey
