I agree, if Staal plays over KK, Caufield, Lehk, or whoever, it would be reasonable to think that's because there was a deal in place. And, I was not the most prominent Bergevin haters, but if he really made that kind of deal, it is such a big negligent mistake that he should be fired. Staal is costing this team.

For what it's worth I'd be willing to bet Mr. Tanner is a better bee keeper than hockey writer. Although that is because I assume he actually watches the bees from time to time

I don't get how you can be (lol) a "part-time" beekeeper though... so the rest of the time these bees don't need any care or supervision?

I laughed so hard and got some dumb mental image of a family guy style cut away gag of a bunch of 17 year old bees doing drugs, drinking, banging queens and stinging random people for gags. I'm an idiot

All jokes aside, assuming it paid well I'd have to imagine writing for an adult cartoon would he one of those dream jobs. "Oh, here I'm encouraged to share my dumb, juvenile thoughts and jokes? It'll take me time to adjust but pass the bong and sign me up"

Bees hibernate for a large part of the year (ie winter), so yeah, you I guess you can bee.

Pun intended.

it would be stupid for her to weigh in even if the team had no French players because it's a cultural issue not a political issue. but that the team DOES have 2 high profile French players who just so happen to be out of the lineup at the same time makes it infinitely stupider. she's arguing that the Habs should have an infinite supply of NHL-ready French players when there are a total of 32 regulars in the NHL who come from Quebec.

Could not have said it better.

I think that was a failed attempt at being cool and popular and imitate Coderre's style

you can always count on Leclerc to write something intelligent.
that being said, Habs drafted 9 local kids in the past 10 years. none currently on the team.

I think Harvey-Pinard and Teasdale have a chance to join the team eventually in a bottom 6 role.

but in that case you're still a full-time beekeeper, it's just that winter time can become somewhat of a "forced break", depending on where you live...
