I will do what I did recently, record the game, check the score around 9:30pm when all the kids are in bed and decide if I watch the game from the beginning or simply check the highlights on NHL.com and delete the recording...which is what I did often the past month and a half.

Here again it's this stupid schedule managing so that SN can broadcast both Canadian games back to back. But this game is so meaningless that I think I'll exceptionally skip that one.

i think it's a contractual issue. Mtl-Edm is a regional broadcast only on Sportsnet. and the main Sportsnet network has exclusivity in Canada on Weds nights i believe.

if the playoff were starting in 2-3 days yes i would give him a period or two. but with another week at least between games i don't think one game will do anything for him.
