if Quebec wants French players...perhaps they should do a better job at keeping their teams in place....see Nordiques.

You should do a better job at writing something that makes sense

Habs' stats without Staal, without Staal taking out the season's first 10 games and finally, with Staal:

Sans Staal : 16-9-9 (,602)
Sans Staal, mais en enlevant les 10 premiers matchs : 9-8-7 (,521)
Avec Staal : 8-12-1 (,408)

The man should be asking to sit himself.

let's hope this "agreement" with MB only applies to the regular season, if such an agreement exists...

I can think of a lot of pro athletes who say "I don't have it anymore, I'm the problem"

Yeah, pretty much.

But now, they can't sit Evans when the playoffs start. I think it's going to be Kotkaniemi and it's going to be a bad decision.

Also, poor Caufield who has tons of speed and plays with two snails.

If Kotkaniemi sits MB, DD, even Youppi should be fired

I do not think Drouin will ever play for the Habs again.
- Mashadar

Agree, Drouin will not play, Staal should not be dressed and finally I would start the series with Perry and sit out Caufield. I like the kid but we need a bigger body, in your face type of player against TO.

Before Caufield? Armia. Byron. Lehkonen. I'd sit Perry over him too. Under the assumption Staal is staying in the lineup due to his agreement with MB I'd go with: C - Danault, Suzuki, Kotkaniemi, Evans. W - Tatar, Gallagher, Anderson, Toffoli, Caufield, Staal, and let the last two be fought for by Armia, Byron, Lehkonen and Perry, probably starting with Perry and Byron

having Staal in there is absolutely (frank)ing ridiculous, unless he magically turns on the switch once the playoffs start (which looks very unlikely)
