I like GoT and Breaking Bad, but lots of other good series out there:
Chernobyl
Band of Brothers
Stranger Things
The Pacific
The Spy
Better Call Saul
Peaky Blinders - bloatedmosquito
Just finished watching that. Was more enjoyable than I thought it would be... probably the best shows I've binged this pandemic (not all-time) are:
Mr Robot
Deadwood
Lovecraft Country
The Man in the High Castle
The Boys
But honestly, Mr Robot and Deadwood were the best. Deadwood is such a well made show filled with drinking and whoring and racism and one of the best TV characters in Al Swearengen |

Lost, definitely the best written show ever to have graced the airwaves. |

Lol, not sure if you're being serious or not... JJ Abrams has even said they made poop up as they went along with no real end game. He made that show as a way to get on to writing for Alias if I remember right |

Mind hunter (think that’s what it is called) was good.
First season of Jack Ryan not bad, second season Meh.
If you haven’t watched Happy! on Netflix you are seriously missing out. Warning, not for children. |

I nearly broke my TV after the finale. That last season was so painful. We kept watching because we wanted to know how they were going to write themselves out of that box. They never did.
Seasons 1 and 3 were actually really good. |

Toffoli: “That’s why I wanted to come back to VAN. I could have seen myself finishing out my career there. But hockey is a business, I understand that. & at the end of the day, there was no offer from (Benning), so we had to go another direction. It was disappointing” #canucks - @BuckFoston_

Definitely one of my favourites that I've watched as well.
Shows I've watched recently that I enjoyed are Haunting of Hill House, Ozark, and the first season of The Witcher was really solid. |

Out of all the people I think you'd like Deadwood the best (maybe it's the cowboy thing? )
This is pretty profane/racist slurs/homophobic slurs, but Ian McShane is an absolute gem in the series: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gawOeI0e3KA&t=2s (start at 1:17 to skip to the meat of it) |

that was a GREAT show!!!! there was hbo movie that came out last year (?).
not as good but as someone who watched the show when it aired, you can imagine my level of interest!
anyway, THE WIRE is the greatest show ever.
you people have little taste. |

Will check out Happy!... we're watching Succession right now which is great so far. Watched The Plot Against America mini-series which was good – basically what if FDR lost to a Nazi sympathizer, and what the would mean for American Jews during that time.
Ya, I loved Lost, but man it was all over the place |

Thankfully we were able to binged the series then straight into the movie. Didn't have to have the rugged pulled out from under us when it was being aired |

btw, i always recommend it but hardly anyone watches it but.....
if you like political machinations with violent battles in an ancient rome/julius caesar type setting, ROME is the show for you.
it was an HBO show around the time of Deadwood.
it was GOT before GOT (minus the fantasy) but it got cancelled after 2 seasons. the reason? it came out at the wrong time. it was a few years before green screens and digital animation became accessible so the costs to make the show were ENORMOUS.
it's only 2 seasons but it's a great re-telling of rome (julius caesar) with sex and blood (HBO winning combination.) |

Happy is about an ex-cop who’s daughter gets kidnapped by Santa clause, and her imaginary friend (Happy the flying unicorn) helps to save her. It’s like Texas Chainsaw Massacre meets my Little Pony. |

Who you calling you people?
Also, we spend hours per week talking to strangers, taste in TV is the least of our problems. |

Nothing.....yes, but Ottawa is still a better team than Vancouver - DraftandDestroy
Hard to argue with this, unless you add the "schedule" and "injury" excuses. JB will certainly bring this up at the post mortem, if he's still around.

Don't forget that the Canucks are the only team playing during a pandemic. |
