Spezza is a legit 50 point player still...pretty awesome how he is playing here for 700K.
not many players of his talent are willing to play for 700K playing 10 mins a night. - Santo_44
Josh Anderson of the Habs sure is being paid alot more for the same # of points all while rocking a solid -10 rating.
Anderson as a big, gritty forward who you want on your team - sure.
Anderson at what he is being paid right now for what your getting - pass.
If he is more of what he was at the start of the year vs now throughout most of his contact it's a good deal, but if he is more of what he has been the back half of this season - yikes!

Mitch Marner on Frederik Andersen's return tonight:
"He's worked his butt off to get back into the shape where he thinks he's the best possible goalie he can be and we're excited for that and we're excited for him."

Cool.
Everyone in Toronto loved Sgt. Clarkson of the Waterbottle Police Service.
Until we didn't.
Anderson could very well end up being excellent value for $ but I'm not sold he is worth what he is being paid based on the Jeckyl and Hyde season he's had so far. This weird season does make it hard to really know though, next year should be telling.

Yeah MTL overpaid on him....
Loved the trade but the signing was a head scratcher.

Agreed.
But even during the whole "hyde" phase, he's been getting plenty of opportunities and was involved in the play.
Hence why, despite the dry spell production wise, I'm not too worried about him.
Now will it last until the end of that contract? That's another question.
Seems like the type of guy that will want to play hockey as long as he can. - Santo_44
It was a bit of an adjustment from a top 6 f to a bottom 6 f but I think he has finally found his groove...he was good last year but he has been great this year.
