Hell this has been going on for a while. I remember the Hawks did it with Kane. Bottom line is that Tampa still had to make the playoffs with guys out. They probably win the division instead of being in third. We just did it with Tanev because there's no Carter here unless Tanev stays out.

Yeah I don’t really see the problem when you hold out a big money star. You take risks when you do that. You’ll end up with a less favorable seed or could miss the playoffs. If you held out an albatross, though. Like if Jack Johnson were making $7 mil, got hurt, and the GM said “Hell yeah! Out for the season! LTIR!” That would be dubious.

That is garbage. 1:30pm here....on top of the Pens looking sh!t in afternoon games I have a 4 year old's bday party 12:00 to 2:00 and my own game to play at 3:00

I used to like noon Saturday games because I wouldn't have to miss the games when I went out. Now with the baby on board, my social life has very much shifted to day-time oriented so it's flip flopped.

I dread them! I do all my work at the house then. A 7pm game is the perfect time to stop working and go watch the game. I always tell myself I'm gonna throw it on the radio on, but i always forget. I guess I'm different, because I'm remodeling the entire house, in my spare time( the weekend) and haven't gotten cable or internet to the house yet.

I'll be doing the same, but sub out the pork butt and I'll be preparing dough for a few loaves for bread.
