Gonna go Debbie downer for a second but every one of MB's moves in the offseason have worked out really well and yet this is the result. Can't imagine what it'd be like with Domi over Anderson, no Eddie, no Allen and no Toffoli. The team we enjoyed in the bubble last year would have been down closer to Ottawa with less long term hope - Takemedrunkimhome
might have been a good thing.
***looks for pete. coast is clear.***
because we're likely looking at a quick playoff exit, a middling draft pick, a capped out team that won 17 of it's final 46 games and long term job security for the architect of the mess. |

Takemedrunk liiiiiiiiied, one more day we have to wait before Perry knee's Matthews - Xizord
Lied? A bit harsh and implies intent to deceive. It was reported the north would start Wednesday, my bad. Calling me a lair though? That doesn't go over well with me |

Hard to afford a solution to that problem and it brings us back to square one. None of that is Price's fault. MB's made the bed that is the current Habs roster, top to (frank)ing bottom - Takemedrunkimhome
not putting the blame on Price, but I wouldn't put all the blame on MB either, you can't really forecast that your goalie is gonna be injured as such |

he is more vulnerable to injuries, that's for sure. The part where I want to see Price top shape and performing at this highest level....the playoffs, let's see what he can do this year. - Symba007
Yep. He can still dominate in those situations when healthy. The team only goes as far as Price carries them |

You kinda can for any player over 30, it's the reality of life and father time. When you give those guys 8 year deals at top dollar with every no move and no trade protection under the sun you own the results |

meh, I'm pretty sure Price has missed more games than most goalies over 30, it isn't really a "normal" wear and tear situation

Being able to score more than one or two a game aids that however |

Yeah I don't have the stats and I'm not going to pretend I'm either a capologist or sports scientist but I'd imagine the majority of big term and dollar deals going to players 30 or older don't work out well and the majority of players 30 or older suffer a greater number of injuries than they did when they were younger. But those are just guesses |

oh for sure, that would be a logical guess, but I mean in Price's case it seems to be a lot higher than average (which is also a guess lol)

Could be. Could also be perception as we watch him and rely on him more so any time he's out it seems obvious. Either way, hopefully he's back healthy for playoffs and can at least help the squad look competitive |
