That's why I said "if he looks good and feels good". If he's hurting after game 3 .. you give him a rest. If he's dancing in the hallways of the Marriott Chateau Champlain then you keep dancing with him. - The Law

To the barrel or moxie’s a few times to form some sort of bond so that these grownups will put up for them in the playoffs and not get run on a regular basis as we’ve seen in the past

So I think we’re fücked with our goaltending. (Negative)
They probably won’t resign Andersen. (Positive)
We don’t have a starter next year. (Negative)
We’re fücked. - .HOHO.
So they better win the cup this year. |

after the goalie or one of the scorers get run they need a better response than looking the other way bent over with the stick across the knees
even if you take fighting out of the game (during the playoffs) they need to be ready for some bangin’ along the boards
maybe even some open ice hits😮 |

rielly could have sent one of the senators to the hospital with a clean open ice hit the other day and he stopped up for a stick check |

The Leafs never "have this."
Never franking ever.
I swear, Barbsie, it's like we're the only guys in here who watched a Leafs playoff game before. - Atomic Wedgie
No No No Wedgie.
I have watch lots of Leafs playoff series. I'm not the only one ... but I can tell you that I was in Maple Leaf Gardens for the series losses against Philly the years that they won the cup, I was in the Maple Leaf Gardens for the playoffs the year that the Leafs beat the Islanders in Games 7(although Games 7 was in the Nassau County Mausoleam) and I watch them get swept by the Habs two years in a row in the late 70s.
I was a few games at the Gardens during 92-93 playoffs and then again 93-94.
There is "two truths" with the Maple Leafs from my 50+ years of watching - they NEVER and I mean NEVER do it the easy way. The second one... they need to get "scared" to galvanize them into playing there best - always. The best thing for them is to get behind at the outset of games... and come back.
They may have enough talent to squeeze out a couple of wins this year against the Habs while being lazy... but in my opinion, they will NEED the kick in the nuts that you get when you lose a game you should win - or the refs steal one from you.
What we haven't experienced for as long as I can remember is getting out of the first round without a significant injury or some drama.
If I'm in Keefe's shoes... I sit the whole team down the night before the first game against Montreal ... everyone in one room and make them watch the Game 7 collapse from 2013 and then watch last seasons' loss to the BlueJackets. No talking allowed. No cell phones.

It has to be Rittich, even though his play hasn't really instilled much confidence since his arrival.
Freddy just looks lost right now.

Anyone have a gas fire pit table? Do they heat pretty well?
Looking to get into playoff mode with some outdoor viewing. |

I dont have a pit table, but I have a dining table with a flame part in the middle.
It heats up "ok", not great. a lower, round, fire table might be better if you could sit around it?
