Hate to sound like a homer but its honestly debatable.. They have both scored over 40 goals twice in their careers. Neither have scored 50. McDavid also puts up like 50 more assist than Matthews because Matthews literally shoots every puck he touches while majority of the time Connor will pass. If Connor tried to shoot the puck into the net every single shift like Matthews I would not be shocked to see him score 50-60 maybe more. Its easy to say Matthews because the only he does is score goals.. 25 assists really? How is that even possible when McD has 71.
