You must be so proud of your team. Nothing says success more than winning meaningless games.

Do you think we will get lots of Kracken games on TV from the Seattle stations? I'm looking forward to some exciting hockey.

Imagine if a story leaked now where Benning had been given permission to speak with Gallant - while Green is still coaching...
- 1970vintage

Benning wants Green back. They made him an offer. FA probably waiting to see what else comes open for potential GM's before he makes any decision.

Edit:

Green says he is learning still and improving. He might be but he hasn't figured out what to do about what's wrong.

Did the Canucks play last night?
- Marwood

They sure did, it was exciting.

1st time I watched a full game in awhile, maybe I will watch again when Jonah and Lockie get to play.

Legit question

Who finishes next season with more pts.

Seattle or Vancouver.

It's going to be close

- Jkuzzi

Legit answer

If Vancouver cleans house with management and coaching, I will say Vancouver because they have a really good core of players that are talented. They know each other and have played together.

If they stay with the same management and coaching I would give the edge to Seattle. Then it will be close.

Not even going to see who they pick first?

Maybe they tank for Shane Wright or Brad Lambert

You have a point, but I’m putting a little faith that FA hires an experienced GM who in turn hires a experienced competent coach, who then hires experienced assistants.

I guess I’m setting myself up for another massive disappointment

Go Kraken go. 🤷‍♂️

All signs point to this with FA's proud endorsements.

After over 5+ decades, I have no problem supporting Seattle if they have a better product.

BTW, I don’t follow the draft prospects like you and Reuby, are their any prospects ready to step into NHL full time at Seattle or Vancouver’s positions?

Meh, in a season of mediocrity and outright garbage hockey, we hold onto onto the little successes. Thank you Jim Benning for that.

From the research I've done, there's only 2 or 3 guys who might be able to step right in, but it all depends on who drafts who

Matthew Beniers is the guy i'm hoping for.

That's okay, we don't need help "right away" we have 2 more years.

Power, Guenther, Beniers, Hughes and Clarke are my targets. All fill a need by this organization, and all are likely to be the BPA wherever we pick.

Odds on Canucks final positioning. They have it at a 68% chance we finish 25th or lower, with the highest they could finish being 22nd should they go 4-0

Dhaliwal: I talk to hockey people around the league and they have no clue what John Weisbrod does in the #Canucks organization

When I see a Blues logo on Canucks stats, I question accuracy.

I clicked onto the other teams and the logos are all messed up. This is the site Carol usually references in her blogs when discussing playoff odds.

IMO, only Beniers and McTavish are nhl ready.
The 3 defensemen, Power, Edvinsson and Clarke would be a nice acquisition, but probably need another season of development.
I could be wrong though, like I was on how great of a defenseman Hughes was going to be.😁

Sounds like bullsh!t to me. Clearly he must have responsibilities. He likely helps Benning with pro scouting and wasn’t he high on Hughes as well?

You really think FA is paying a guy just to sit beside Benning?
