Players thrive with stability. They're probably annoyed at not knowing who to impress now. This uncertainty with regime change is rippling throughout the club.

The guy skates well enough that age is not as big of a deal imo. Most of the older guys that can still play decent is because they skate well or have good positioning. If it was Edler signed for 4 years i would get it but Schmitty has wheels for the foreseeable future
