There are no excuses that I’m reading, or any “haters” that I know of. We have a terrible GM and worse coaching staff, not a hater, just reality and fact.
Players love to win, players thrive in an organized structure with well thought out systems. Players will tune out an ineffective coach and organization which is the reason why a regime change is required - Makita
I'm not surprised you're claiming to be unaware of the hate and excuse list.
Though your opinion may have merit about this regime it doesn't make it a fact.
Reality is things are unclear as to who will be in charge. Change usually comes when confidence in stewardship and direction is shaken. |

It would of been nice to have 10-12 picks those years instead of 5-7 picks - A_SteamingLombardi
It would have been awesome.
I'm not sure why people don't get the importance of drafting then. Pretty much 10 years of nothing between Gillis and Nonis. Whatever they could manage out of the draft they were using to fill out the rest of the roster. Which wasn't much, so you start using picks for trades.
Those players flame out or refuse to be traded thanks to NTC and what's left to trade? Nothing, there's nothing left to add those extra picks.
Most hate the GM that has done at least one part, draft well. He would be better if he could manage his assets. |

51 years of suffering does this to some of us. - Reubenkincade
I'm only at about 27 years. |

If it wasn't for the extenuating circumstances, aka excuses in hater speak, then that observation may be more accurate.
Players thrive with stability. They're probably annoyed at not knowing who to impress now. This uncertainty with regime change is rippling throughout the club. - NuckUp
What exactly is your problem with haters?

Brad Shaw is not returning to Clb, was an asst coach there. Has been an Asst coach with TB, NYI, STL, CLB for 17 years. |

The Canucks have no business winning any remaining games, play the kids.
Screw the lame duck coach.

For an extra 1.5 million we get an extra 5 points from Schmidt. - Reubenkincade
Soo...you would have kept Tanev over Schmidt...who is two years older with not a great 4 year contract and is normally injury plagued PLUS with dwindling point production...instead of Schmidt who is two years younger and technically more durable long term albeit his contract is larger and his PPg will impove with better D support here Go with Schmidt all day. It was time to move on from Tanev regardless but it all gets amplified due to the whining. I see now we are back to 'sure wish we had Tanev to mentor Hughes' thing lol. Let's move on like we need to do with Edler as well. Maybe we should have kept Hamhuis and Bieksa as well? |

Apparently Tanev had a good year according to Flames fans but I for one was ecstatic when he left. It’s a miracle he hasn’t broken down yet for them. - CanuckDon

3rd and 4th lines looking good this period.
I do like Hawryluk for depth next season. |

Crap team, they'd get destroyed in 4 straight in the playoffs.

With better cap management we could have kept tanev toffoli and traded for Schmidt. Team would have been a million times better with Hughes Tanev Schmidt Edler Hamonic Myers.

Same as the Fanboys with their deep emotional attachment for this dumpster fire of a team. |

Did I say I would have kept Tanev? Pretty sure I was fine with letting all 3 big name free agents go, what I am saying is you can't claim to be going younger, then trade for a 29 year old defenseman, that is costing 6 million per year.
The direction of this team is all over the map. |

As Imac explained, unless there's another injury Canucks can't play Gadj, Lind or Lockwood until after Sunday. |

So go back 4 previous years and don't sign a 60 point forward. Keep playing Chaput, Magma and Skille. Leave Boeser in College for 2 more seasons. |
