The thing I hate the most about Tom Wilson, more than anything, is that he is making me root for the bruins - picklerick
Wilson and Marchand are making me root for the Isles. |

Watching all these playoff series, the rangers would have been destroyed no matter who they played. The roster really needs to get more physical - TPC
I was so hoping Matt Martin caved to Boomer and signed with the Rangers. He's a beast. |

So now different players have different standards? Or is it just athletes have emotions and this happens 500x a season but DQ JD and Gorton had it in for TonyD and used it as a BS excuse? I’m guna go with the later. - nyrangers9479

i must have said it about 50x the last 10 games or so, but any of the isles/pens/caps/bruins absoutely bulldozes the rangers.
with or without kreider/panarin/trouba, doesnt matter.
we're a ways away from competing w/ those teams. |

He's like Brian Boyle, gold in the playoffs.
Really hoping a few of these big kids we have in the pipeline have some serious snarl. |

Completely obvious watching the playoffs that we wouldn't have stood a chance.
However, next season with a NHL coach and hopefully a center and some growth we will compete in a few years. |

Good for Florida - picklerick
Random stat of the day
Lightning are only the 3rd team in playoff history to score 5 goals in one period and lose
Way to go Tampa !

Yes different players have different standards. Ovechkin is a Calder/Art Ross winner, a 3x Hart winner, a 9(!!) time Rocket Richard Winner, a Stanley Cup champion, Conn Smythe winner and the 6th all time goal scorer in the NHL. Tony DeAngelo had a good season last year.
Of course Ovechkin has a longer leash. You sound ridiculous |

I don't remember Ovechkin asking people on twitter to meet up and fight him too many times either. |

JD going back to CBJ and saying Quinn id a candidate for the HC job is only lining up to embarrass this franchise. |

Quinn will probably thrive in Columbus if they hire him
he may finally get to coach a normal NHL season one time

Somehow, I don't think this is going to be the general opinion among Islanders fans. |

The Rangers have the talent and ability to beat the best teams for sure. I believe they could have won a series with Shesty playing well and the lines clicking, but a long run, not so much. You are right, they need more physicality to wear other teams down. |

It is amazing how big of douches these two people are. And not the "i just hate playing against them" types like a Domi or Barnaby, but you just dislike the human being that they exist to be. |

No he is, they acquired young talent, got lucky with the draft lottery, now they have to see where these kids are and now we fill in out physical needs.
Basically we are beginning our 3rd year of the rebuild because the first year is a wash because we were in sell mode acquiring players and picks. |

That’s truly (frank)ing terrifying, especially being in-division.
I honestly really liked Quinn, but he just didn’t come off as a strategist or X’s & O’s kind of guy. From that aspect I don’t mind seeing him go but I’m sure he learned a lot and will be better in his second opportunity. |

Well, if somehow, NYR did make the playoffs this year, it's safe to say that half our lineup would be dead or injured after the first round |
