I have one question...if Gallant is so good why does he get fired after 2-3 years everywhere he goes? I just understand investing in him if he is going to be gone that quick.

I really don't understand why Vegas fired Gallant though, they got absolutely shafted by refs in that first round loss to San Jose in 2019

Who can blame him? Staying home all year during a weird shortened season while being paid and knowing you'll be at the top of the list of coaches hired this offseason it's an easy decision. Add in the spite and it's a no brainer

He probably knew that he could take some extremely-well-paid time off and, at worst, be majorly sought-after by Seattle. Not to mention the usual couple of coaching spots that open up at the end of most seasons. Plus the whole "sticking it to Vegas" thing
