They are seeming pretty confident on the Isles blog in NYI winning six games. I know the Pens have a bad history with them and just like the Capitals did with the Pens, until they beat them it will hang their heads. This team feels different.

They are a lot better then the team in 2019. For starters, it's the players who are NOT here. No Jack Johnson, Gudbranson or Bjustad and no Lee or Towes for them.

Biggest concern besides #71's health is Jarry. First time starter in the playoffs.

I think Gudbranson was our best defenseman that series. Even Letang and Dumoulin were a mess. Betting that doesn't happen this time around. Pens defense has been getting a lot of love lately everytime I hear outside commentary.

Unfortunately, he was our best D-man that year and that's all we needed to know about why they got swept!

One other thing I forgot to mention that is worrisome(can't believe I forgot) is the Pens PK! Been good at times but scares me when they are out there. Gotta limit thei Isles chances.

That's some sound logic. Boston is scary right now with those top 2 lines. But like you said, if the Caps win, they earned it.

Wouldn't mind one more round of Caps and Pens in the 2nd round in the Sid/Ovi era.
