Just put Asplund back at 3C - Buff36
He would be one hell of a 4C
The question now, as well all know too well 8s who is the 1C
???
Cozens
Mitts
Asplund
I think Cozens can do it in 4-ish years .
It's why I hope:
- they can get Breniers as possible competition
- would like Zibby from The Rags as a placeholder for those years |

Adam Fox’s rights were held by 3 teams and he forced his way to New York before even playing a franking game.
You really don’t put it past Jack to do the same thing ?
If I were a rival GM I would definitely have it in the back of my mind that Jack will go play wherever he wants in 14 months. - Pegullaville
He could do that because he was about to be a ufa. Big difference.

|
|
|
He absolutely could. - Pegullaville
So he will sit out if he isn’t re-traded?!? Really? I, uuummm, really? |

Not much different than having a NMC.
I’ll go sit on the beach in California until I’m dealt to where ever I want to go play.

I don’t want Eichel. Pre injury I think they would include Laf. Eichel probably ends up on the kings
Honestly the only untouchable on the rangers have is fox and the guys with nmc bc they wouldn’t waive. You could argue fox is as valuable as Eichel. True #1 dman. Anybody else probably on the table - nyrangers2
I think given your owners actions and statements you are exactly right. That said, I'd send him west.

Night and day different. Fox was days away from being free. Holding out is days away from not getting paid. |

zibby's a ufa in two years, and i highly doubt he'd re-sign in buffalo...that's pt 1...pt. 2 is i think the rags would like the idea of having jack/zibby as their 1/2 down the middle...pt. 3 i think zibby likes ny - Michael Pachla
Next year hes a ufa |

If he is that determined to play where he wants to play. That will always be an option. |

UFA after next season.
Then cross the Rags off the list, unless Zibby agree to a 4 year extension. |

Hey Jack!!!
Over here.....$50,000,000 reasons why.
Not happening. He has a hammer next year in a TRADE scenario only.
He ain't sitting out.

And how many of those 660 players are better or on par than Jack Eichel ?
He has a unique leverage.
What did Chicago get in return for Panarin knowing that he was going to UFA in 2 years ?
That’s what I would expect for Jack. |

Huh? Not even close to the same thing. Either way it's a stupid debate. We have more than 13 months to trade him wherever we want.
