This coming from a blackhawks fan a trade for echiel imo should look like this from the rangers:
Zbinajd excuse the spelling kappo miller and 1st and 3rd then eichel to the rangers and 4th. Plus sabers get 10 million in cap space. Here is a question Reinhardt wants out too what would a trade look like between the hawks and sabers for him and debricant is untouchable just curious doubt it happens. |

Ideally they Trade Eichel to the next version of the Sharks team that thinks their close, trades unprotected 22/23 1st rounders.
What organization looks like they could go either way, Winnipeg is on that list with that questionable defense - washedup20
Good post 20
Trade eichel somewhere frindge, like the Erik karlson return. Eichel ends up injured = profit |

I'd have no problem adding Georgiev but Shesterkin is untouchable
really the only things absolutely untouchable on the Rangers under any circumstances are Lafreniere, Fox and Shesterkin and the guys with NMCs
really anybody else could be had in that right deal - jimbro83
Except we're giving you OUR untouchable player. |

Tim stuezel unprotected = winning a trade
I'm not giving eichel away for a lottery ticket or 2.
But, washing20 brought up a good point.
Maybe I misread this point as well, but:
Eichel going to a contender (LA,nYR) vs (arz)
Az would give us chicken run + + +, but their unprotected 1sts the next 2 years could be fun...... |

This would have been a nice move here :
"The New York Rangers have hired Mike Grier as their new Hockey Operations Advisor.
Grier takes over from the departed Brian Leetch who left the position Thursday. Grier, who retired 10 years ago after playing 1,060 games in the NHL, was highly-respected in during his career and subsequent time as an assistant coach and will be a welcomed addition to the Rangers front office".
Chris Drury influence already paying off for the Rangers. |

I can assure you that no one in Vancouver is giving up Hoglander for Reinhart, never mind adding in the deal. As a rookie he is already scoring half a point a game in limited minutes without much power play time. He is skilled, tough on pucks, and has a motor that never shuts off. A cost controlled player like that on an ELC is worth gold.
Vancouver can just wait a year and get Reinhart for free since it is fairly public knowledge that he wants to come here. His trade value is remarkably low with it being known he wants out and only having one year of club control left. Buffalo has no leverage over the player, if he doesn't agree to an extension to a potential trade destination no one is giving up anything significant for one year of a decent, but not elite player.
I think I can speak for the entire hockey world that no one who wasn't extremely drunk or high gives Buffalo Tkachuk for Reinhart.

If a team wants Eichel, they should realize that no one is untouchable.
You just named 3+ untouchable assets. That would mean moving to the next team's offer |

The reality is any time a big name player is traded that team almost always loses out. The Rangers don't need Eichel. They can get a very good number 2 center and roll with Zib as the one.
Best offer from the Rangers would be buch, chytl, nils and a 1st. If they move a topyoung player as well it would be kaako, but another pick would have to come back. Eichel carries a large cap hit and has an unknown injury. Trading Eichel a year ago would have fetched a better return. I dont want any part of Eichel or his cap hit. He is a top 5-7 center in the league when healthy tho |

Sorry to say but until this medical sh!t is better known, think we are in no man's land. Even if we do try and trade him, it's gonna be used as a tool. |

I've said it many times. I don't like the Rangers as a trading partner. Sabres need potential star-power center prospects returning and that's something the Rangers can't offer. Laffy doesn't do it for me as a winger, Zibanejad is too old. I don't see Chytil as anything great. Not a fan of what they can offer

Lafreniere or Kakko has to come back IMO - homiedclown
Kakko is underwhelming the league, struggling as winger
He's more than a throw-in for sure, but he'd be 3rd or 4th asset, not a primary piece. |

Kakko has great underlying numbers. Just did not put up points this year. He will top out as a 50-60 point guy eventually playing top 6 minutes. Hes played on the 3rd line for 2 years now. Hard to get him minutes with Buch, laf, panarin, kreider on the wings |

No worries.
We'll keep him, then the price goes up when recovered, which should be October-ish, alowwi g him to show-case his talent as an elite Ctr.
Your owner has other ideas from you though.
Big game hunting we shall go is his mantra. |

of course you would. Buffalo doesnt trade with NYR, Eichel goes out west.
It will be ANA or LA
