Refs really switching it hard to "playoff hockey" rules in this Minny and Vegas game. |

Not in a position to trade assets for D.
Larsson probably pricier UFA than Savard.
I’d resign Hamonic cheap again. - Nighthawk
Who said anything about a trade? The 3 guys I mentioned are UFA's. |

McCabe & Murray are LHD hence a trade unless blocking OJ & Rathbone. Now if Hughes is a RHD rover then I’m interested. |

Really liked Rathbone game yesterday, I also like what very little I have seen of Joulevi.
See what happened in Florida when a fantastic coach was brought in, hopefully the same can happen here. |

This team could badly use at least 1 top pairing guy. - Reubenkincade
Name one team that doesn’t. |

I maintain Baumer needs replaced in the least. I like the future we have on LHD with Hughes OJ & Rathbone. Hamonic is fine as a steady & cheap RHD compliment. Myers could be steadier & produce more offence to compliment OJ. That still leaves the need for 1 more good or better RHD. Overall as Reuby said we need more RHD in the pipeline to go along with Woo. Need to find a top pairing RHD fir the future. |

I saw something online that said it had something to do with Uticas season officially ending today. Not 100% sure what the real reason is though |

2nd period and the shots on goal are 9-23 for Vegas. Yikes. |

RHD top pairing & top 4 have always been needed league wide. It’s rare a team has it covered.
Cernak was my want but he wouldn’t leave TB. Pietrangelo was my big fish but he held all the cards & VGK is a contender.
Hamilton is next up. Unlikely he moves.
Leaves me with Savard as my target. |

Funny he was there for all the losing. Guess a good schedule and healthy team had nothing to do with it. |

Joel quenville was brought in to coach in 2019
Bill Zito brought in as GM in 2020
Your proving that a GM and coaching change can turn a team around. |

Forgot how much i hate Pierre McGuire. Just the least knowledgeable color guy ever, talking about “a real goaltending duel” when one team has 12 shots over halfway through |

Not sure I understand, since 96 Quenneville missed the playoffs 2 times, one with Colorado and one with Chicago.
Pretty impressive. No need for excuses, 🤷♂️ |

Agreed.
Not sure having OJ, Rathbone and a rover on the left side is going to lead to much success though. |

I was agreeing until the end. It’s extremely likely Hamilton moves, i expect him like Petro to test the market and take a big offer. Not so sure Carolina can afford him. Big target for the Kraken IMO. Don’t think we can afford him either. |

No one brings up that the Stars went from the Cup Final to missing the playoffs. Was that bad players/coaching or bad circumstances for their fall....hmmm. |

I always get a kick out of people who claim scheduling etc as being advantageous for a team, without being aware that that team also had games postponed and compressed into an even tighter schedule. |

Yeah how did he do in 2019? You're proving you're ignoring competitive advantages and factors.
The line to winning is razor thin. It's not so simple. That said change in stewardship can have positive effects to repurpose a team. It's coming for the Canucks. |

The 3 young left side D for the Canucks have different attributes. Hopefully sooner or later they are all allowed to grow. |

Having hall of fame teams is no excuse. A good coach gets his team to over achieve. |
