Need a kill here and maybe change the momentum a bit. Pens are playing/skating well.
Only down 2-1, win this period and we can take this. |

Almost makes one think he should play with Pageau more often. 🤔 |

Pageau should play more often. It seems like he's the only one winning battles. |

The point is at least he showed up to play which is more than I can say for barzal and eberle and wally and Palmieri goal aside |

He looked good on that pk. I honestly don’t see anything else he’s doing good for the first line. I think Pageau has been really good, Palmieri at times, and Beauvillier who should’ve scored a couple times and flubbed it. Agree to disagree |

He really does try to be a pain in the opponents ass every shift. |

Best player on the ice so far. Tough to call with Komarov though |

No luck on that op on the PK just deflects away from the goal. Gotta keep working and pick up the physicality. |

The team as a whole isn't good only a few are working and making plays |

That I agree on I just don’t see Komarov as the guy that’s in the group that’s working. I should add effectively. |

I don't see why saying the guy was the best player in a period is such a controversial thing. At least he was noticeable which is more than you can say for the rest of them unless Mayfield being noticeable in a bad way counts |

Again I'm not saying he's the best player on the team just he has the best 1st period |

Sorokin.
In all seriousness, Leo has been pretty good but none of those three on the top line have been able to create any opportunities. Ebs has had a few times where he nearly got free in high danger areas, but Pittsburgh has committed to swarming him and Barzy, which was the risk of not having a third offensive threat on that line that we discussed going in.
Beau has been pretty intense too, but we need someone like Palmieri, Martin or Brock to win a battle in tight
